I truly thought for years they were doing right by me, only to have this last encounter. My cars oil light kept coming on, but no leak found. I bring it in and am told I needed a new valve body that cost me 1400 hundred dollars, and assured "I had caught in time" and there was no damage to the engine. Not even a month ot 2 later the engine siezes and I have it towed to Susquehanna. Was told they wouldn't be able to get to it for probably a month (I had bought another car) so time was not an issue. I was told what it needed, as that was a new engine and radiator, but not told when they'd be doing it. I get a call in November asking me to get it off their lot as it needed to be moved for towing. Reached out to the person they referred me to to tow it, to be told he'd pick up on a Friday, then he forgot and it would be the next Friday. Long story short, he didn't pick it up and I call to see what I needed to do to get it released. Now, I do have to say, due to personal reasons (medical) this call was only placed last week. I was told by the owner Tom, he was charging me storage fees dated back to August as that total wouldve been almost 28,000 dollars. He was kind enough to let it go for a hundred dollars last week as long as I had it off his lot that afternoon. I immediately called Lou's Auto repair Body shop, and he went and got it and didn't charge me a dollar (in which of course I will be paying him) as he said on the phone he was charging VERY little, and quite honestly, until writing g this review, I didn't realize I didn't pay that man that day! I never received anything in writing or even verbally, I would be charged storage fees from Susquehanna and yes, I am fully aware it sat far too long, however, they said they stopped calling me because I wasn't returning their calls which is simply not true. If you're looking for a shop that will do good by you, and not charge you for a part that essentially was as good as good as flushing that 1400 hundred dollars down the toilet, tell you one thing, then do the opposite, tell you untruths, then I suggest you take your vehicle any other place than Susquehanna Auto. Lou's Auto repair Body shop, truly treats you as a human being, doesn't tell you your car needs something it doesn't and is a genuine human being not just looking to make a buck off you, as I just can't say enough wonderful things about that man and/or the people that work there. These two shops are on the same street, being Susquehanna Auto, and Lou's Auto, you can see for yourself, Lou's lot is always packed full, as the other....well, not so much, as there is a reason for this. I hope you save yourself the money, and aggravation and not learn the hard way as I did.

These people here are outright incompetent or doing damage on purpose, both of which are not good. I brought my car there to have an oil leak fixed. When I went to leave after I paid over 500 dollars, the car kept stalling. I didmt even get out of the parking lot. He brought it back in and I saw him put back in the old oil sensors. He was switching parts! The next day, I was driving my car and the engine started smoking and I lost my power steering. I took it to a certified BMW mechanic. He showed me where they did not put a bolt and a nut back on the power steering pump causing failure. The fluid also caused damage to my belts all to the tune of over 1700 dollars! This mechanic said there was no way this bolt fell out. He said it was on purpose or totally incompetent. I will be filing with the B.B.B. I have heard from a couple people that they had the same experience. Do not trust these clowns! I would not let them work on my bicycle!!!

I do have some issues with the service I received here . I do think they are fair. But having had to have the car in twice and then return to pick it up three times when it was supposed to be ready was a big inconvenience.I don’t think they test drove the car after fixing it .

I don't know anything about cars but about prices. And I used to call other places to get an estimate then I when to see Agnes or Tom their prices always are better then any other auto repair. They never took advantage of a woman who doesn't know anything about cars. Now they are my #1 place to go when my car needs something..they are good fixing BMW Audi corvette .

They don't have a very big offering and are pretty slow to communicate, but they were pleasant and sure to not leave you hanging altogether. For the person who can find what they want there I'm sure they'll be taken care of - worth a look!
