Great place, and definitely worth a stop. I’ve been looking for a vintage goose neck lamp for my desk for months and finally found the perfect one. What really sold me, is that the owner does all the rewiring, so I don’t have to worry about anything—which you usually would with an older lamp. He was super friendly too, so it was an overall great experience.

If you are passionate about drums (and who isn't really?), you have to come see Tim at the Northcup Drum Museum!! In the outskirts of Oneonta in the basement of a former dairy barn, Tim has taken on the role of drum historian. Not only has he curated an unbelieveable PLAYABLE collection of drums and percussion covering the mid 1800s into the 1960s, but he is a virtual wikipedia of the stories that go with those literally works of musical art.We pulled up late on a Sunday afternoon to find Tim rolling up his Open sign and saying goodbye to his last customers. Although he had already put in a full day in his antique shop he would not let us leave with a tour of his amazing collection! Sure having the opportunity to play one of Buddy Rich's kits was mind-blowing, but listening to Tim unwrap the stories of early drumming history was well worth the trip. You won't be sorry!! Tim, you are a cool cat! We will definitely be back!

Just an absolute gem of a place! Tim the owner is delightful and he's done a terrific job transforming his grandfather's stunning barn into a beautiful space full of wonderful treasures. The layout is well designed, it's not stuffed to the brim, and Tim offers some unusual categories like vintage hardware that can be really hard to find. He also has a unique vintage drum museum on the downstairs level. Check it out!

Tim Northup is everything you'd hope for as an antiques dealer; kind, passionate about beautiful things, knowledgeable, giving of his expertise & time, & more than fair in pricing. He educated & guided my husband & I when we were newly married, furnishing our home 30 years ago, & I am happy to say is a familiar friendly face to return to once again! Highly recommend!

I purchased a piece of furniture from an online listing and would absolutely recommend that others check out this store and buy with confidence. Working with Tim was a pleasure - excellent communication and very knowledgeable. His shop is really unique and seems to have frequent updates with new pieces rolling in. Looking forward to seeing what he brings in next!

I really don't know what's cooler--this awesome old barn or the collection of goodies inside. The owner is an absolute artist! There's some of the coolest lighting I've ever seen in this place. SO MANY GREAT MEMORIES as we looked around... My favorite was probably the glass drinking glasses with Looney Tunes on them. He even has an Underdog glass! Those took me right back to my childhood. And the BARN! The beams in that place are stunning! I would definitely recommend this place to a friend. I'm so glad we drove 40 minutes to see this collection. Definitely worth it.
