Prices are out of control, can find comparable inventory elsewhere for a fraction, even including freight lol

Horrible rude staff and the prices don't even make since. Will never go there again. Don't even waste your time or money here.

HISTORIC LILLY HOUSE
'Wilshire Square' - Santa Ana, California
September 2018
Converting a 3'x6' closet into a half bath in an historic 1930 Spanish Colonial Revival home required some effort to ensure that the project was architectural consistent and looked as if it had always been there. New York Salvage came through above and beyond for the project. A 1932 Kohler corner sink, a vintage ceramic wall-mount toilet paper holder and a glass and chrome wall shelf made their way from the east coast to southern California. Packed so well they could have fallen off the truck on the highway and shown absolutely no damage whatsoever. Knowledgeable staff that knows their stuff. Highly recommended.

Rude unhelpful staff. Prices are insane. Don't waste your time. $895 for a light fixture that is worth maybe $40. Old window $495? Lol

The prices are ridiculous. No wonder they have one million pastel colored sinks, at $1400 a pop who is buying them!!??? Some cool stuff for sure but, yikes, the prices!

They have amazing finds from old homes but prices are quite high! Very disappointed in prices as I found many items would love to have.

The man who answered the phone had an attitude when I couldn't find the location. (In Portlandville there's a sign which reads "New York Salvage/607-433-9890," so I made the assumption that the business was located where the sign was. Nope, it's in Oneonta.) And when we got there he was just as rude--and did not put on a mask (in worst times of the pandemic). We wouldn't go back anyway, as the prices were way too high. There were toilets for $950, sconces for $250, etc. I know some people have no problem paying these kinds of prices for "architectural" salvage, but we'll do our shopping at the Otsego ReUse Center.
