Creeps keep removing my post on this horrible branch. $2,103.00 (two thousand one hundred three dollars) is missing from my checking account. On February 27, 2023 I went to the Southside NBT Branch, no pens at the desk to write out chits, front door making strange noises, felt bothered there. After making the transactions, I went to another NBT branch about 20 minutes later for a printout of transactions I had done at the Southside branch. The printout said I withdrew $1,800.00 (one thousand eight hundred dollars) and made a deposit of $2,103.00 (two thousand one hundred and three dollars). That would have been correct otherwise I would have gone back to the other branch. This past weekend I remember making the deposit and who it was from. On March 3, 2023, I had another printout done at it said that around $2,200.00 (two thousand two hundred dollars) was on hold. My monthly NBT statement does not have the $2,103.00 deposit on it. NBT Southside Branch said it was someone else's deposit that went into my account because the bank teller did not close out my system. They denied the money would be on hold on March 3, 2023 even though I have a printout from NBT Bank. I am a pre-senior and do not recall that day much, but I have the printout of what I withdrew and deposited because I felt NBT was scamming me somehow, distractions like doggie biscuits in the window they do sometimes, so I had gone inside that day. I am trying to find my deposit slip for February 27, 2023, unsure how long that will take unless I discarded it.

Sick and tired of drive-thru only at Southside Oneonta branch. Huge waste of time and gas! Covid continues to be bank's excuse for keeping the lobby closed while ALL surrounding businesses are OPEN. Considering moving accounts to different bank.

Bad customer service at the southside location.Not very friendly. These millinials need to learn that their job dealing with the public is just more than a paycheck.

I've banked with NBT since a teenager, and have always had a pleasant experience. I would recommend NBT to those who are local.

This bank is shady don't do business with them!!! I've had to report them to the better business bureau. I have a personal loan with them and when I tried to pay it off the stated it's my fault that the account information I gave them was incorrect when in fact it's their phone lines that skip while talking. They continue to charge me interest on my loan while they "looked into it". They also messed up my credit while they were supposedly looking at the issue. They did NOT call back when they stated they would which caused the payment to be "late" which accumulated more interest even though I tried to handle this situation long before payment was even due. They refuse to allow customers to speak to a manager and their customer service representatives shouts at you and will try to talk over you. I am warning everyone not to do business with this company.

I had problems getting into my online banker. My phone went for a swim and I lost everything and had to start completely over! I couldn't remember any of my passwords so I was locked out of my email account which is where all the new passwords would be sent. Makhala was very understanding and helped me put part of my life back together!! 😀

Instead of telling customers NO, “the only way we can give you that information is if you are here at a branchâ€, when they have a question, how about saying, “ I can't give that information out over the phone but let me speak to someone and see what WE can do to help you get his resolvedâ€! That's called CUSTOMER SERVICE! Considering Someone May be dumping tons of money into your bank very shortly, being snooty and. “New Yorker†doesn't play well with everyone! Thanks to the manager that did help me.

Staff were really rude. I called and ask if I could cash my paycheck there, they asked where and then were like yea we can do that for a fee. I get there 30 minutes later and they refused to cash it.
