The carwash at the Oneonta location damaged my truck as it tore off the radio antenna and flipped open the gas cover! After the wash, the truck and tires looked great but the tailgate area of the pickup was still dirty. When I told them, the staff was very nice and let me go thru again at no charge. But it was during the 2nd time that the antenna was snapped off. The wash also flipped the gas cover open again. I'm afraid to go back for fear my vehicle will get ruined, which is a shame because I never had a cleaner looking truck; it's beautiful!

I was excited to have a Hoffman Car Wash finally come to Oneonta as this place doesn't have much. however, Hoffman really needs to step up this car wash. In the winter, cars here are plastered with dirt from the sand that is used on secondary roads. The cars need to be sprayed off thoroughly with a hand held sprayer by an attendant before entering the tunnel. There is a hand sprayer hanging at the entrance but is not used 99% of the time. The times I have seen it used it was a very short, perfunctory spray of the front. THE WHOLE VEHICLE NEEDS IT!
Second, in the summer, this place again is useless. It doesn't remove any bug debris from the front of the vehicle, mirrors etc. Again, vehicles need to be sprayed with a bug softener prior to entering the tunnel. Once in a while an attendant will give a very short, half hearted spray of the front left side of the hood and a wetting of the windshield. Spray the whole front of the vehicle (left and right sides) as well as the backs of the mirrors. Most good tunnel wash car washes post one or two attendants outside the tunnel entrance where they spray the vehicles with power washers before entry. The best also scrub the front with a soft brush before entry. Not this place. It's really to bad as I thought this was going to be a gain for the area. I'm cancelling my membership as I'm tired of pre washing my vehicle (winter and summer) to remove the dirt in winter and soften the bugs in summer before going to a car wash that I pay a membership at. Going through a tunnel wash with a dirty vehicle will scratch the clear coat. I have talked to several around here that have that issue and have seen it also on family members vehicles.
** Response** to Hoffman Car Wash response; As to the light spray of "bug juice", yes you get a very light spray (very light) and then enter the tunnel immediately. There is no time for rehydration of the bugs or as you call it, "marinate". That was my point, there is no time to let the bug juice do its job.
