We happened to stop in while visiting with friends in town. There is something for everyone. My girlfriend is a little out of control with buying so we were there a while. We got a chance to see Chris and Rita in action. First, NICE people! Great conversation and honest! Second, they know their stuff! They treated everyone with respect and professionalism. The prices are excellent! We picked up this beautiful enameled pocket watch. Thanks for everything and we wish you well!!

My experience was an unfortunate one. Following my phone call with Chris I drove a half and hour to his store. But before the negative reviews I will say this; the store has a great presentation. The shop took great measures in response to COVID-19 by requiring masks as well as taking temperatures prior to entrance. However as fast as I came in was as fast as I left. I was rushed out of the store because of guidelines unique to his store. Following these unique guidelines is not what upset me. Rather what did was the failure to mention these guidelines prior to my 30 minute departure. A man of his profession should know better than most that time is money; and my time was wasted. I would have felt better if there was more sympathy towards my situation. Perhaps next time I will have a better experience.

The owner was extremely disrespectful. Not only to me, but to his wife. I was treated poorly. I went in to get my silver coins looked at, but got declined and told to leave. I drove a half hour to be there, which the owner failed to mention certain guidelines to me beforehand when we spoke on the phone. I was nothing but nice to that man.

Went in looking for watches as a new collector they gave me a reference for a book I can study and also gave me quotes on a few things and even though I didn't end up buying anything they gave my daughter a jewelry box and a coin for FREE. Definitely recommend to anyone into collecting silver/gold but also have a little bit of everything and very friendly with me anytime I have been in there

Absolutely TERRIBLE experience. Rude owner treated us very poorly from the second we walked in. He practically demanded to know exactly what we were looking for while we were only trying to browse. I had been given a gift card by a family member and had never been in the place before, so as any normal person would, I simply wanted to look around. He repeatedly asked "Well are you going to buy anything?" when we wanted a closer look at things (strongly implying we were wasting his time), and rushed us out of the store because he had an "appointment" 30 mins before his posted closing time. He was very rude and condescending to polite people who were seriously interested in purchasing coins. I'm assuming because we were younger he didn't feel like treating us with respect. I see in his response to another very similar review he blames the person's appearance and attitude, but we were three polite, well dressed people and we received the same horrible treatment. Terrible attitude, rude, unprofessional- will absolutely NEVER go back.

Came in with my wife and kid during the Art and Music fest. The owner took a lot of time to show my wife and myself a very pretty $2 educational he had. He also showed us some very nice currency. It was a very nice experience and I'll be back when I'm in the area. (Picked up a nice and reasonable 34-S peace while I was there as well)

My experience was not good at all. They all have bad attitudes and are very confrontational. I have done business with them before and each time it was the same scenario. My last experience with Christopher's Coins, I took sixty ounces of silver rounds to them and they SUPPOSEDLY miscounted by six, of course it was in THEIR FAVOR. I knew they were lying to me because when they counted the rounds, the owner was rushing the sale, hoping I wouldn't notice. Do yourselves a favor and avoid this store like the plague.
