“With all the big lumber yards around it is easy to forget a smaller one like Pickett Lumber.Sadly, we have not visited them for some time and recognize what a big mistake that was when we purchased our sheetrock there for $2 less a sheet. Prices are comparable to Lowe's and Home Depot and in some cases much better.There were no lines and no waiting. Courteous staff help us load all of the materials we purchased.Plan to make this one of our first stops when purchasing building materials. Too easy to get caught up in the hype of the big monopolies and forget that these smaller stores are doing a great job.”

“The day after thanksgiving my fridge went bad so I went to Lowe's to replace it. I worked with a salesman that was very helpful his name was grant. Grant ended up selling me all new appliances and what sold me was the rebates from Samsung and Lowe's I would end up getting. Roughly around 600 dollars. So that night I went online filled in the information and was denied on both rebates. I called the store several times and went in to talk to the managers and they were not helpful at all. 2 of them never returned my call. Mind you I spent almost 4 thousand dollars with them. So I went in and was going to try one last time and again spoke to a manager that wasn't helpful she sent me back to the appliance desk where I ended up working with a women named Alyssa. She was awesome she spent a lot of her time Monday making phone calls and fighting for me to get my deserved rebates. She is the right person when it comes to customer service. She should be a manager. I would of gave 5 stars because overall my experience was good other than the mangers not making me a priority like I feel they should have after spending that much money there.”
