Can't attest to their skill at killing animals but I can tell you they are totally unprofessional. I just had one of their drivers in a pickup truck tailgate my vehicle for the better part of my morning commute. The road split to two lanes and this guy decided to just keep driving behind me simply to be a jerk. Just a horrible reflection on any business. Teach your staff better. I'm really disgusted.

Catskill Animal Damage Control is an outstanding Animal Removal organization and was highly responsive to my request. We had a squirrel living in our attic for 3 years that we had another company come and exclude twice and each time the squirrel came back. I am so impressed with Mark and his team and their commitment to high quality animal extraction -- they did an exceptional job and also came late in the evening when I called them and needed their urgent response.

Donald is awesome! We arrived at our family cabin (after several months away) to the chittering, snarling and scratching of racoons. A family of 5 racoons was living in the attic space. Since we were only going to be in town for few days, I was worried we wouldn't be able to get them out in time. I left a message for Catskill ADC and they called me back within the hour and came out to the house the same afternoon. Donald was extremely knowledgeable and he set live traps, catching 3/5 racoons on the first night. He picked up the caught racoons and readjusted/reset the traps for the remaining 2 racoons. As he predicted, with the mom caught and removed, the last 2 babies went out on their own that night. We boarded up the entry point and were racoon free. I highly recommend this business!

There are two parts to any review for services like those Catskill ADC provides: 1) was it effective? And 2) was the experience of having this services provided a positive one?Part 1: We hope so; it's only been a month but so far, no bat activity (Note used Catskill ADC primarily for bat exclusion or "bat-proofing" our home.)Part 2: Our experience was very unsatisfactory. We got a quote of $4,000 which seemed high, but we accepted it because he was so highly recommended by a friend. When the actual work got done, by Mark and one of his employees, it came to two work sessions totaling about 8 man-hours. ($500/man-hour!!) When we tried to have a conversation about this, Mark's response was that he had included 20 hours of travel time (ie commuting) to our site. For one thing, it's unethical to include travel time without pre-informing the customer. And the other thing is that even if 20 hours was ethical, it's still $200/hour. Finally, he said that we had agreed to the price, he had done the work, and that was the end of it, and if we delayed payment, we would face legal action. We confess that we are not experts in this field. Maybe bat experts do typically get paid that much, but if that's the case, it might have been explained before the work began, and absolutely should have been explained after we raised the question. Our advice to anyone reading this review is this: in your before-the-work discussions with Catskill ADC and all other providers, ask for an estimate of both the total cost and the man-hours involved. You'll have a better idea of what you're buying and fewer unhappy surprises as the work progresses.

What's that noise? In the roof - wait, now it's in the wall! Coming out of the winter I had noticed some rotted wood in one section of the soffit in the back of the house. Repairing it was on my spring to-do list. But - during the end of the winter a female raccoon moved into the attic space and had her babies! I called Catskill ADC and Mark called right back. He came over and evaluated the situation. They were not making noise at that time so we couldn't determine their current location. He had me keep in constant text communication with him and came right over again when I heard them. He was able to trap one of the babies and then used the baby to attract the Mom outside into a trap and once the Mom was trapped - he used her to attract the babies to exit the hole in the soffit - where he constructed a safe exit ramp for them to use to get close to Mom. And in a few hours when they got hungry - sure enough that's exactly what they did, and they were sitting on top of Mom's cage. When that happened I texted him and he came right over and captured the babies. The Mom and all four of babies were quite vicious - and he knew exactly how to quickly grab them on the back of their necks with his gloved hand and get them into a container. So then the entire family was reunited outside of the attic - and he brought them all to a place where they can be checked and relocated and released when they are ready. Mark was amazing and really knew the pattern that the raccoons would follow - the desired plan he initially verbalized was exactly what happened. He and I were constantly in touch during the process which took a couple of days - and he came back and forth to my house about a half dozen times in the process. I really felt that he was on the case and I had complete confidence in his expertise and diligence. I highly recommend him if you have a critter - or many critters - who think your roof or attic or walls or basement is their AirB&B. The animals were all treated extremely well with care and respect and I am so glad that I contacted Mark to relocate them. His service was a 10 out of 10! If you have an invasive animal problem - call ADC immediately and Mark and his son will know exactly what to do,

Professional, clean, and compassionate. Mark did an excellent and thoughtful job helping us eradicate an invasive woodchuck. He also delivered on installing an in-ground barrier under our deck to prevent their return. Mark educated us about about local laws and regulations, was very thorough and responsible.

Mark & Catskill ADC came in clutch when we had an unexpected groundhog cause havoc along our foundation and various sheds. While the groundhog was making himself at home, Mark was communicating with us constantly and vigilantly setting up and monitoring traps.The issue occurred while my wife and I were traveling. The availability and willingness to go above and beyond was a nice change to the typical service provider in the area. Should we ever need additional animal control in the future, Mark will be our only call.Service: General wildlife removal

Mark is the man! He assessed it and he did it. I had animals living in and damaging my home. Mark showed up when he said he would, found the entry points with ease, set the humane live traps, picked up the captured red squirrels shortly after they were trapped, and sealed the entry points when confident he had gotten them all. I must say I'm quite impressed with Brandon from Catskill ADC. Less than two weeks ago I called him and with his quick response we were able to remove three woodchucks already from under my detached garage. We have been aware of our woodchuck neighbors for some time now, but with having almost broken my ankle falling into a burrow entrance tunnel right in front of where I enter my garage.....some measures needed to be taken. Their pricing is manageable and service exceptional. Straight forward and to the point....Just the way I like it. Highly Recommended....and will surely use them again should the situation arise.Service: General wildlife removal

Masters of their craft, Catskill ADC came up with a plan for my problem and executed it perfectly. They took care of 3 different groundhogs living under my shed and built a barrier to prevent future groundhogs from taking up residence. If you're serious about solving your groundhog problem, talk to these guys and pay them for the season.
