My sister and I booked an appointment at 1:00pm, we showed up 10 minutes early to get out nails done. The staff wasn’t really friendly and welcoming when we walked in so we stood there and signed in and told a work let that we had an appointment. Did not get what I asked for. Was very unprofessional argued with about valid prices that they have written legally on the company paper. Let me start with a pedi is 45$ I asked the lady that was doing my friends pedicure if they did acrylic pedicures. She said yes, so when my employee came over to start my toes I asked if he could and he said no my toes where too small so I asked for just my big toe and he continued to say no. then I had a I had a full set of nails I had recently just gotten done but they were long and I just wanted them just down and painted. On the paper with all of their prices it said to cut down your nails was 8$ and I got French white tips painted on which is another 10-15$ however much they charge I don’t know exactly because they don’t have it on the paper and or they do not give you a receipt. My total came up to 95$ which I knew was not correct, so after I left and thought about it I called, and that’s when I was argued with and was not even able to get a sentence out without being interrupted. And to add to it all when you call tip top they have their phones on speaker so everyone in the salon heard this nail technician arguing with a young paying customer that they excessively over priced. Long story short will not being going back there!!! learned my lesson! The nails also have black dots all over the white tips and my gel polish was on my skin on my toes which led to the whole gel nail coming off!!

This was my 1st time at Tip Top, I lived in a large city until recently, and was pleasantly surprised by my experience. My tech refined his work as he went and after the gel painting made sure to file the nails again and trim any stray cuticles or skin,attention to detail sorely needed by every other place I've ever been, definitely going back!
Cleanliness: I'm a nurse and overly observant @ all cleaning and hygiene in salons, I was very satisfied here.

The men there that do nails are awful. They don't care, ALWAYS trying to change my designs to fit them better. I pay good money and tip I should be able to get intricate designs, if you are a CERTIFIED nail tech it should be no problem. He said he could do until he cut my nails, told me he could no longer do it. I was so very excited to get the nail art, I left in tears. I won't be returning.

Ron is the best nail tech in Olean, NY. Definitely would recommend! My previous nails lasted a month!!!!

Extremely impressed!!! Have always gotten my nails done in Hornell, and I’m very picky about who touches my nails (see all the horror stories ?) but was in today for a fill after 3.5 weeks-$45 with Gel and a $10 tip, had an appt for 3:30, was in at 3:27 and out by 4:05! Will definitely be coming back!! Thanks again!!!

I had a horrible experience there. It was pretty busy when we walked in and the greeter was doing someone’s nails. She asked what I wanted and said to wait a minuet. After standing there for Ateast 5 mins I went and started looking at the nail polish colors. Then the lady started yelling at me in front of everyone asking if I knew what a minute was. I have never had anyone treat me that rude before! I walked out. I would never give a place that treats people so poorly for no reason at all

I had an appointment at 1pm, I sat there for 40mins and as I was packing up my stuff to leave all of a sudden they wanted to take care of me. They let walk ins and a 1:30 appointment ahead of me. I will never go back again!!!

This place is one of the worse places I have been for dip powder. They didn’t fix my nails, there is black all over them for idk what reason. They also charged me full price after they sat there and talked about it they should or not. Would not recommend to anyone. And my dip is all bubbly not flat so it looks like my real nail. They also cut me as you can see in the first picture

Great job! If they are busy and there is a wait, then make an appointment next time. They are very busy for a good reason. If you made an appointment it should be honored and they do that, but some wait is probably going to happen with the volume that this salon has. Patience is needed IMHO
