Staff was very helpful and patient, and the service was both excellent and timely. I know nothing about cars, and Mike was able to explain exactly what was wrong and what needed to be done to fix my vehicle. I would absolutely recommend a visit.

Meh. The old man there pushes his agenda but not the envelope. Failed due to power steering not being present. The law is subject to interpretation by the inspector due to their not being laws on inspecting a non present vehicle part, nor are there any laws stating exclusively that it must be present; merely their interpretation of what the law means, which is that it should be present at stock, so it must require it. [Which doesn't offer forgiveness for modified vehicles]. It makes me wonder the fate of cars too old to have this feature and the fate of modified vehicles, and I wonder if I would have had fewer problems removing the whole system, including the cables.
Had my car inspected by another service for cheaper within the hour and affirmed with a state lawyer and 2 [other] mechanics that my vehicle is safe and sound. The guy behind the counter tried to tell me it'd blow up all over the place, to which I reiterated it is not a bomb and the pump is not present. He then explained all of how this could happen, which seemed like semantics at that point as the civic I drive hasn't had power steering in 16 years. I wasn't concerned due to being reassured by a competing service, a local state lawyer, and a renowned mechanic of 55 years before picking up my vehicle that there was nothing to worry about and that whoever was present that day wasn't being flexible based on their own preferences. I had my car inspected previously at this same place just last year, with no power steering. Too bad the owner wasn't there, as I know he wouldn't have given me any pushback due to his extensive knowledge of the laws and regulations as well as the various vehicles and their nature. Unfortunately, I had to foot the bill despite this, but my car was still inspected to pass at another facility after failing here due to my power steering being unhooked/removed.
Solid service, pretty cheap but rigid and unflexible, and they'll still take your money and push their agenda if it doesn't align with their ideals.
They also applied my registration sticker without my approval and it is too high up.

I've gone there several times for custom work... had a hole in my driver's floor that they repaired, exhaust was rusting out- they did custom exhaust, replaced rear coils and a lot of the usual things- oil change, wiper blades, check all lights and tires, super great communication. I appreciate the fact as a senior woman that they listen to what you have to say you believe your issues are without interruption or making you feel as if you don't know what you're talking about.

Went there to get my brakes checked. I needed rear pads, rotors, and one caliper. The brake lines broke removing the calipers. They couldn't get the part, so they got me a ride home. It was fixed the next day, and they even dropped it off to me. The guys were great to work with.

I definitely recommend these mechanics. They got my car right in without any waiting period. They were honest and forthright with the assessment of repairs on my car. They went above any other mechanics in customer service and timely estimates of repairs needed on my car. They definitely have my business in the future and I love it that they are open 7 days a week even though some parts needed weren't available to be delivered on the weekend which is understandable. Thank you for all your assistance. Will share my experience with family and friends.

First off I called ahead for an appointment which was never put into the computer but they still squeezed me in for my inspection… but then after my appointment I was told my car failed the safety inspection but passed the emission the reason they gave me is a small gas leak near the gas tank and a license plate bulb… now this car had major engine work on it within a week before the inspection and they also went through to make sure it would pass and now all of a sudden I have a gas leak by the tank and a bulb out which I checked all the bulbs before I went in and replaced the ones needed…now before I went in it didn’t have any gas smell but after my whole car reeked of gas inside and out after they pulled it out of the garage….when I got home I checked the bulb and it was pulled out enough to not turn on I also checked gas leaks and couldn’t find any nor was there a smell of gas with the car off and also while running. The gas lines look like new no rust and I have a plastic tank. Now I will be taking this to another inspection station and telling them about what happened and if they don’t find any problems I will be reporting this garage!
I am editing this post to include I also put a dry box under it to see if it leaked and be able to smell what it was leaking if anything and it does have a leak just before the muffler where the muffler connects to the main pipe and it’s just water it’s leaking from there I am guessing from where it was running too lean and ended up getting water in the pipe…
the car has passed inspection since this review which I will admit they was right about the license plate bulb which I replaced but as far as the gas leak the garage that inspected it did not find a leak nor did they smell gas! And they were aware of the failed safety inspection and why
I will never go here again.
