Montezuma Winery - Old Forge
3050 NY-28, Old ForgeThe one bartender was zipping around, describing the wines, and being the sole caregiver of about 30 thirsty patrons - he KILLED IT. We did a wine tasting and a liquor tasting. We left with 6 full bottles of wine, and two wine slushies. I highly recommend this if you are an adult that enjoys local wine.

The Back Door Bar
3092 NY-28, Old ForgeWe were leaf peeping on a warm fall weekend having had breakfast at Campbells Diner on the way up we were not hungry but stopped for a drink and the view from the back door bar outdoor upper deck. Bartender was friendly and chatted with us for a quick minute as he served a large crowd. The burgers that went by as we stood there looked scrumptious and huge. I would venture to say the food must be good based on the looks of it and the size of the dining crowd. When we sat outside with the gorgeous view from the upper deck people below were getting pizzas that also looked delicious and I'd say about 18" with fresh looking ingredients. I cannot attest to flavor but the smells were awesome. Next time we will stop later and grab a bite for dinner.

127 North St, Old ForgeGreat visiting with the owners Rich and Justin. We stopped on a rainy day so it was very busy but people pitched in to help. Nice to see a thriving business in Old Forge. WP visitors
