Extremely happy with the moving services provide by Molloy Brothers. I've worked with them on two moves: Manhattan to New Haven in 2020 and west side to east side of Manhattan this week (UN week in NYC). Even with the crazy congestion of UN week, they managed to pull off a perfect move. Quick, efficient packing (nothing broken or damaged), friendly, professional and reasonably priced (quality costs a little more, but Molloy is worth it - first class service all the way). I don't like to move, but if I have to again, no question I'll call Molloy to handle it.

The short version of this story is that after a month of trying to have our belongings delivered, we still do not have them. We are paying rent and utilities on a home we cannot live in. Read on for more information. From the beginning, our move was bungled every step of the way. While I assure you that everyone I interacted with was pleasant, nothing went right. No one communicated with me. It's been 1 month since my initial contact to have my belongings delivered to my new home, and I am still waiting. I am beyond disappointed, as Molloy Bros came highly recommended. On our load day, the movers were over 2 hours late. No one contacted us, so I had to call to find out what was happening. We were told the movers were 45 minutes away. Forty-five minutes later, the movers called to say they were an hour away. They were even later than that. (They also clogged our toilet.) Delays like this significantly impact a cross-country move, and we lost valuable time starting our drive. I'm thankful we weren't flying, or we would have missed our flight. When we were ready to have our belongings delivered to our new place, it took me 2 weeks of phone calls to schedule it. Since it took 2 weeks to set up the move, this meant we would wait a total of four weeks. Forty-eight hours before delivery, I called to ensure everything was on track. At that time, I was told our belongings were sent to Florida instead of Wisconsin and had to return to NJ before they could be delivered to the correct location. Again, nobody called to let me know. When would we have found out? While we were waiting at our new home on the day of delivery? They escalated our case and assured us of an update by the end of the day. Not only did no one call, but they stopped taking my calls. Molloy Bros prides itself on excellent service. Their service is an embarrassment, as it is practically nonexistent.

I just moved from Brooklyn to Suffolk county and had to put a majority of my stuff in storage. Working with Molloy Brothers was a fantastic experience. LeAnne was my coordinator, she was responsive and incredibly helpful. She offered great suggestions for keeping organized with what was going to my new home and what was going to storage. These made moving day a breeze. The moving crew worked quickly and carefully. They used great care with all of my furniture, diligently wrapping and boxing the items that required some TLC. I will be using them again for my next move and highly recommend them to anyone looking for movers.

A few months back I sold my home in Holbrook. I needed a moving company to help me move my furniture and a bunch of boxes into storage while we found another home closer to work. Their sales rep came to our and gave us a very fair price. He seemed nice enough. He told us the good thing is that if we used the company again when we bought our new house it would be cheaper due to a few reasons. The move went well. The movers were great and I was ready to recommend them to friends. We just purchased a new home and I was excited to use them again. Upon getting a quote, the rep quoted us 4 guys (instead of 3 like last time) and also quoted us peak pricing and a longer time period to move. This upset me and he ended up subtracting one worker from his quote and working a little bit with the peak pricing. I could live with it. The movers showed up and did a great job. Ended up being quicker than the quote and saved me around $400 hundred dollars which was great. Upon checking my credit card the next day, I see they charged me the quoted rate. In fact, they charged that exact amount before they even showed up to do the job. I reached out to customer service and was told that it's going to take a week before they can look into this. It takes a few minutes to refund a credit card transaction and issue a new charge. This company is scum.

I reached out to Steve for an estimate, and he could not have been more helpful and professional. Moving is incredibly stressful, and knowing that you have a team that is reliable and great at communicating makes *all* the difference. I am 100% confident recommending Steve and the Molloy Bros team!

I recently moved from the Bronx to Ossining, NY. Moving is not an easy thing to do. We went from a 2 family house to a 2 bedroom condo, not easy. From getting the estimate to actually moving, I can't tell you how easy it was with Molloy. They are a subsidiary to Mayflower. Everyone was kind, knowledgeable, respectful, and pleasant. The day of the move 4 men came and one was nicer then the other. The guys were helpful and got it done in record time. They put things exactly where they were labeled. I called the office to state how thoroughly satisfied we were. I can't thank you enough for all your help.

I had used them over ten years ago and they did a good job so I used them again last year. Their service has deteriorated. There movers damaged my wall and an expensive closet. When I called and emailed their service department multiple times, they never responded. Avoid companies that treat their customers this way.

I’m still waiting for a response to my calls three days ago. I was promised a return call in 24-48 hours. This is in regards to my NJ to GA move when several items were covered by unused, extra huge boxes in our garage and left behind by Nick...... as well as other items. Despite paying for ‘extra’ insurance, these items not covered by insu, according to them, cuz they were never put on truck. Hope K was notified the very day of move and has photos of items left behind. I believe thst compensation is warranted for items left behind due to negligence. We submitted all the broken items, etc , on time. We have followed all rules and instructions, even some contradictory ones, that your phone team snd the trucker gave us to the best of our ability . We’d really like to close the file on this issue and move on. It’s unfortunate that phone messages are not returned. I cannot yet recommend Molloy Bro.s Movers to others until this last issue is resolved. Thank you, Orrin Davis

I can't say enough great things about Molloy Bros. and Hope who was my moving consultant. They made moving which we all know is the absolute worst experience a very positive one. The guys got to my home nice and early. They were quick in packing up my entire kitchen but very meticulous and careful in doing so. They moved my entire 4 bdrm home with ease and efficiency while smiling the entire time. Hope followed up before and after to the move to ensure everything was in order as it should be and to make certain I was happy. I'll never use another mover again. Molloy Bros. are top notch! Thanks for everything.

I used them for moving. First of all the call with them beforehand was very nice, we got specific answers about how to pack things, what we would need for different things, what was easy for them to ship what was hard for them to ship. Second, We also got an accurate quote from them even though we ended up needing a bit more packing help from them and a bit more space. Third, when they came to get our stuff they were fast, efficent and professional. Finally, almost nothing got damaged in the move. Highly reccomended

Moved from Wantagh to Boynton Beach, Fl. Started with a virtual survey to determine the price. Ended up having it changed because I left out a bunch of stuff but still very fair price. Truck was scheduled to be at my house for pick up from 8-9am. Showed up at 8:02. Stuff was loaded in a few hours. Not a lot of furniture but about 200 boxes of all sizes. The stuff that needed to be wrapped was done very carefully and nothing broke during the move. Was told that they would arrive in Fla. between 6/29 and 7/7. They showed up on 7/1. Had everything unloaded in two hours. Probably the most reliable moving company you could ever deal with. You'd be crazy not to use them.

They are crooks. Moving team showed up at 7:42am, finished around 2pm. Took over an hour to eat lunch in our new house using our table and chairs. Final paperwork they turned in said hours worked were 7:30-4pm with no lunch. When we requested a refund for time not logged, sales manager Stephen Seligson told me he couldn't take money out of his workers pockets. Translation - we screwed you the customer and there's nothing you can do about it.
