My son has been swinging Beaver Bat since he was 8 years old. Now 13 and would not swing anything else. We got a custom blue and red with engraving, the quality very good, and the price is awesome for a wood bat. All the bad reviews are people that know nothing about baseball and how wood bats work. THEY ARE WOOD they will break eventually. However with good care they will last for years. On top of that there customer service is good not sure what people want, use there # and email on the website and they will answer. Until you swing one you will never know what your missing.

The bat looks decent, the label is a little tacky, a thick plastic decal, but look pretty good. Unfortunately the wood is inferior quality. Son is an NCAA Div. 3 college player, ordered Pro Grade Maple, and knows how to swing a wood bat. Bat broke on sixth at-bat. 10 days old. Hit the ball on the sweet spot each time, no end shots and no handle jams. Bat broke right on the meat. Only explanation is low quality wood. Unless you are buying the bat for novelty to give as an office gift for your dad, don’t waste your money. Company will not respond to emails or answer the phone. No response after a week of trying to reach out.

Just don't. The bat looks nice, although the label is a little tacky, a thick plastic decal, but looks pretty good overall. Great for the wall. I purchased a model 243 pro grade maple bat, broke on the sixth at bat. Not a typical break near the handle, rather split right on the sweet spot. A quality bat from quality wood doesn’t break there. Sent pics and email, called several times, no one answers the phone. Won’t stand behind their product.

From what I understand, if you get what you ordered, they are decent bats at a decent price. I ordered 2 29" bats and received 1 that is 29" but the other is 30". Since they are no longer in Oceanside, the phone number doesn't work and I've emailed 3 times asking for a replacement. No response to any of my emails. Not a huge deal, hopefully he doesn't break the 29" this weekend and we can use the 30" next spring, but a little customer service would be appreciated.

I've been going to see Peter at Beaver Bats since 2010. I've brought whole teams in for bats, along with just my own sons (RC24, B72, B24, as soon as you reopen!). NO disappointments. Every age "Slugger" is a Hall of Famer at Beaver. Top-notch bats with great baseball info and stories every time you visit.

Where do I begin? After successfully ordering 3 bats previously, I placed an order on Feb 20 at the Oceanside store as a birthday present for my grandson. I was told it would be ready in a week or two. After 2 weeks, I call and left a voicemail asking if the order was finished. I received no response so I emailed them. Again, no response. After leaving an additional 7 voicemails and 4 emails, I still never received a response. Today was the worse though. I called early this morning at 8:19 and shockingly, they answered the phone. I explained that I left numerous messages both by phone and email but never received a response. I asked him if the bat was ready and he said “I don’t know but I’ll be here all day so you can come down and see”. I advised the gentleman that I live quite far away and I would rather know if it’s ready before I made that trip. He told me that he would call me back in 10 minutes and let me know. Not hearing from him for more than two hours, I decide to take the chance and drive the 40 miles to his business. When I got there, NO ONE WAS THERE. I called him again from his store and was forced to leave another voicemail. Admittedly, this one wasn’t so nice.

as the saying goes "you get what you pay for" and well since these bats are cheaper than Victus or Marrucci -- thats exactly what I got .. especially with the customer service. Nothing like getting a bat for my sons birthday with his name inscribed wrong MATTHEW is NOT a difficult name esp when its on the order. THEN being promised another bat which came TWO weeks AFTER the birthday. SMH First it was delivered to a non existent address in ANOTHER STATE and then was promised to be "hand delivered" yet the bat was sent thru USPS w/o any notice. First time and last time buyer. Next bat -- VICTUS!

Beavers Bats is the number one source for our wood bats. Excellent quality and the owner is truly a man of his word. My son plays with all type of bats but Beaver Bats is the only bat he plays with all the time. We have have brought wood bats for years and never disappoints. Beaver Bats is the best and I am 100% satisfied customer. Thank you Beaver Bats for years of excellent quality and baseball support.
