They fill your propane tank to the full amount which is 20lbs other places exchange your propane tank with a propane tank containing only 15lbs of propane gas. They also sell firewood for pickup or delivery.

I’ve never really complain about a vendor that cuts corners,
A cord of wood is 4’ x 4’ x 8’ that’s standard and what I paid for, HOWEVER, what they delivered was at best 3/4 of a cord and a lot of irregular size pieces of wood
I called Ryan and tried to give him the opportunity to make it right and all he did was wining about the cost of labor
This is the most I’ve ever paid for a cord which WASN’T A FULL CORD
DON’T BUY FRO THIS GUY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes gas fill up was 35 but you pay for convenience and why not support local business. Also had a pleasant conversation with the owner. Fast and good service

Every review that says he overcharges is true. 35 dollars for a tank to be filled? You’re better off going to Home Depot and paying 20 for an exchange. Stay away from this scam artist

He could not tell me the price per gallon of the propane. I brought my new 20 lb propane tank. I told him it was vaccumm purged and ready to fill. He took it away and brought it back, I asked how much is it and he said $35.I paid him and asked how many gallons he put and he said 5 gallons.Based on that i paid $7 per gallon the average price in New York is $3.361 per gallon, that means he charged me more than DOUBLE per gallon.I also weighted the empty tank before filling and after the filling. He put exactly 18 lb.According to conversion rules it is 4.38 gallons (ar 77 degrees F.It was not the 5 gallonsPropane he told me he filled.He had the audacity to try to sell me firewood, plant etc.This place “Oceansidis Propane” is a Rip Off.This was my first purchase, my last purchase and one purchase too many.May 8, 3023.

The price at this place of propane is cheaper than ace hardware. They get $30 for 15 lbs. this place gets $35 for 20 pounds and you get your original new tank back. The person writing the bad review doesn’t realize it.

Way overpriced. The place is super sketchy. He wouldn’t tell me how much to fill the tanks before. Shame on me. Then came back at $35 per tank. Don’t come here, go to Ace Hardware.

So, I originally called a company called Plant Depot, the guy that answered the phone gave me a price of $400.00 for one cord of wood, that's twice the price of anyone else. I then called this company (Oceanside Propane) the same guy answers the phone he says to me, Oh, I just spoke to you, if you want I'll give you half a cord for $200.00o instead. ??? What a ripoff! I suggest to anyone that reads this review, go somewhere else for firewood.

Huge ripoff never go there over charged me over 100 dollars then would not give me back my money when I asked for them to cancel the transaction u can get better service n cheaper prices in freeport all they do is lie n rip u off never go to this place trust me

CREEPY AND SHEISTY, DO NOT GO HERE.Likely the same company as Long Beach Propane.Charges $35 for a 20lb LP tank. Refused to quote prices over the phone before driving over there. After I filled up, Gary told me the price would vary each time I refilled based on market prices but then his larger colleague insisted that $35 was their starting and flat rate.There is also no store front, driveway, or price list; just a weird vacant area with a sad greenhouse and firewood. I should have known to drive away when I drove up but the place was conveniently located and I figured I would give it a try. I feel tricked and taken advantage of for being a woman and for being someone who didn't know better.

Shady business. Stay away!!! Went in to fill a propane tank. Asked what the price will be. Another worker came over and grabbed the tank before I got the answer and disappeared with it. Came back and said $40 when the going rate is $25. Too late. He already filled it. Argued the price down to $35. Never again! Please stay away!!! Crooks

Super sketchy. Overcharged. Just my daughter an I went. After driving down a long overgrown driveway a guy came out of his car to help. No building no office. Just his car. Then took my tank down a different path an filled it. Charged me 35!! Tried to tell me it was filled more than usual?! Never paid more than 25 anywhere else. Pretty sure he pocketed the money. Wouldn’t recommend an won’t be going back.
