Blamed the app and stuck to the lowball offer.
So glad life’s eternal and I don’t have to speak to them ever again
Also driver wasn’t just gross as whole but he grabbed my phone with his truck stop bathroom hands.

The value of a car doesn’t go down overnight, these guys will lowball you and assume that you’re d*** because you’re a woman. Would never recommend and I hope they go out of business soon, SO DISRESPECTFUL.

This company gave me a ‘firm’ offer over the phone, and they ended up giving me just over half of what they offered in person. It felt very scummy because they knew I was out of options and couldn’t negotiate. I will definitely not use them in the future.

So I sold my van through pedal.com so I set the pick up on Sunday for a Thursday pickup. I texted for a smaller window they didn't text back I called they said they'll try, then I call later they say maybe Thursday Friday maybe Monday. So I wait Monday 11pm get a driver wasn't prepared for a Burt vehicle then I call Tuesday for when will they pick it up they said they will not honor the agreement with peddle and will only take the truck for free, at this point I feel like there scamming me or not wanting to deal with it whatever. Call peddle then changed to njc scap metal and they picked it up quickly no issues. So avoid these people they don't communicate well and they I felt like they tried to scam me

Booked a Penske moving truck via their website a week in advance for a local move and confirmed a day prior. When I arrived in the morning I was told they did not have my truck and I will have to drive to Amityville or Far Rockaway to get one. My move was all within a three mile radius of the Oceanside location and I did not have the time to drive all over Long Island and Queens to maybe get a truck. I was extremely disappointed and upset and the attitude behind the dirty disgusting counter was to bad and f-off. The irony of this event is Penske's motto on their website which reads, "We Guarantee your truck will be ready on the date, time and LOCATION you booked for." I'm not making this up, check for yourself. PS Wound up going to UHaul in Rockville Centre and got a truck right away and service was outstanding. Thanks UHaul.

They gave me a fake 100 dollar bill when I sold them my car, the sale was for 450 on January 20th and the money looked legit at the moment but now that I took it out one of the 100 dollar bills is clearly fake. I still had the money stapled as they gave it to me, I know 100% it was them. Unbelievable.

Recently I needed my 1993 Pontiac Transport MiniVan to be toll away. It has been sitting in my backyard for over 10 years. I haven't started or driven the car since then. All four tires on the car are completely flat and cannot be inflated anymore. I have called many other toll truck companies and they all refused to remove the car for me because the van is parked 80 feet inside my backyard. If I wanted to get it toll then I have to bring it out to the street myself. But luckily I was able to find Novak Auto Corp. When I called, I thought I was also going nowhere. But I spoke to a very nice gentleman named Ken. He was nice, kind, and extremely professional. He said that he will try their best to remove the van for me. I told Ken that I needed to do it on a certain time and day because inorder to remove the van I need to be on a day that has alternate side parking so no car is blocking the hallway to my yard. But unfortunately due to Coronavirus Epidemic alternate side parking has been suspended for a month in New York City. So I have to cancel and reschedule my appointment again and again. But Ken was so nice and he said no problem just let him know when I'm ready. So last Friday the spot was finally empty. So I called Ken right away and he sent one of his drivers, Travis to us. I have to say, Travis was also a true professional. He was kind and down to earth. In the beginning I thought that there is no way he can take the car out from the hallway. The reason is that when he backed up his truck into the hallway. The towing cable was not long enough. The Towing Cable was about 15 feet short. At the time, I really thought that Travis is going to tell me that there is no way to get the car out. But Travis had an ingenious idea. He used tie down chains to extend the towing cable. After all the hard work from maneuvering the van out without damaging my property the van finally was on the Flatbed truck. It took Travis over an hour to get the MiniVan onto the Flatbed but not one word of complaining the job was difficult. I truly believe that if I choose a different towing company they will never do it for me. I also believe if not for Travis I strongly think other drivers might not be able to get the van out of the hallway. Too bad I can only give 5 Stars to Travis and Novak Auto Corp. I really think they deserve more than 10 Stars. Finally, I like to thank Novak Auto Corp, Ken, and especially Travis for their help. I really hope my reviews will help you choose Novak Auto Corp if you have any car or abandon a car needed to be removed from your property. I know you won't be regretted. I'm not. David

After dealing with a few Off the Web we buy car companies... filled with the empty promises decided to call Novak in Oceanside. Friendly greeting from Greg on the phone , I was given a price and guess what ? They gave me what they said the entire transaction took less then 10 mins, not to mention I was told the truck would be at my house in 30 mins and they showed exactly at that time.
