BEWARE! Take the time look at the extensive list of violations on NYS Division of Child Care Services. Multiple violations close together that are not corrected. Hiring unqualified personnel, not performing background checks, not keeping records of staff, out of ratio, not having competent supervision and using methods of interaction that FRIGHTEN, DEMEAN OR HUMILIATE A CHILD are just a few.

This is the 2nd tutor time my son has attended. The first was a nightmare. I transferred my son to this location and it was like day and night. The staff adheres to the lesson plans with very structured classrooms and goes above and beyond to work with my son regardless of the challenges. So grateful for the staff and the director here that has always promptly addressed any concerns I've had.

I really can't say enough about Tutor Time in Oakdale. My daughter has been attending since she was 7 months old. She was a preemie and I was told she would be very late with every milestone. She wasn't. All the teachers that encountered my daughter made her feel safe and loved, which gave her the confidence to excel. She is now in the Pre-K room and truly has a love of learning. She craves to be read to, write her letters and numbers, and show me all the great things they created during her day. I see her emotionally growing also. The teachers make an environment of respect and caring so the children can learn how to have healthy relationships with each other as well as with adults. When I recently had a second child my mommy guilt was non existent. They made her transition from an only child to a sibling amazing. All the staff made sure she felt special and taught her different ways to be a good big sister, which made her very secure in our love for her. I could go on, but I won't. When my second child has to go in April I will have no reservations. Because I know it will be her home away from home.

We can't thank the staff at this center enough for the amazing care they provide for our son. He started in their Pre-K program as a shy 4 year old and transformed into a confident and social little boy by the time he entered Kindergarten this year. He was beyond prepared going into his new school and continues his after care at Tutor Time in Oakdale.

It is a really good place !!! my son has been going to Tutor Time since he was 7 months old. He is almost 4 years old and he absolutely loves his teachers and friends. He has learned so much!! It is a blessing to have a place where I can leave my son while we are working.he has so much fun that sometimes he doesn't even want to go home!!. All teachers and staff are very friendly; they really care for our children. My son has soy allergy so teachers are very careful before giving him anything.I love the precious status app!! I receive pictures of his activities; what he ate, how his day is going so it is awesome!!.

Our initial thoughts were we did not want to have our son in a Day Care factory. In hindsight, Tutor Time in Oakdale is much more than that.Our Son started there when he was 3 years old. At first he did not like the change but within a week it had seemed like he was there for years. All of the staff were wonderful in handling his transition. He now runs from the car to the building, excited to start his day with his friends. We get progress reports on him every day, from what he ate to how long he napped, to what activities he did during the day.The staff is professional and courteous. They go beyond the call of duty to ensure that the kids are comfortable and well taken care of. It is everything that we would have expected it to be and more; clean, comfortable, safe and comparatively affordable.We are so happy with our sons experience that we enrolled our 2 year old daughter. She nows has had the same experience as my Son. She cant wait to go to school every morning.I am not a big review person, but for something like this, I felt I had to share my experience so that other parents have a comfort level and confidence their child is in the right hands.Tutor Time in Oakdale is a HOME RUN and a fantastic place. I highly recommend it if you are looking for day care/pre-school.

Tutor Time in Oakdale is so bright and beautiful. It is great see Ms Nicole & Ms Jessica's smiles every time I go to Tutor Time. They are so much fun and WOW!! The teachers are AMAZING! The love and care they provide the children is second to none. They are learning so much!!

My family and I recommend Tutor Time to EVERYONE!!!We sincerely have the utmost respect for the staff at Tutor Time of Oakdale and all that they do for our children. It is such a blessing to be able to place our children in loving and dedicated hands. Being able to bring our children to a place where, when we are away, we feel 100% confident that they are not only safe and secure; but that they are surrounded by people who respect their individual needs and concerns. This is truly priceless.Having both worked with children for many years my husband and I know how rare it is to find such a large number of competent employees in a single space. Not only has Tutor Time of Oakdale accomplished this, but the staff exceed the basic standards of caring for children.Every concern that we have ever had had been addressed immediately. At times we have made requests that deviated from the norm and the staff was accepting and did not hesitate to simply assist us, but to learn about the reasons for our request. All conversations with the administrators have always been friendly and tactful regardless of content. We feel totally comfortable approaching them with any concerns.Whenever we pick them up, our children are joyful and at times are having so much fun (learning) that they don't want to leave!!!Dropping them off is as graceful as it possibly can be. We have two children, and as is the case with most children, first drop offs are not easy. The staff at Tutor Time handles this transition with ease. I walk away knowing that my children are being cared for, their feelings are acknowledged and validated. They are treated with kindness and respect and are never ignored.I simply can not say enough. Places like Tutor Time of Oakdale are rare, very hard to come by. The curriculum and concept of Tutor Time as a whole is excellent. And, simply put, the Oakdale location is special.
