I think this post office is way better than other local post offices. Anyone complaining should go stand in line at the Palisades Mall PO or try communicating with the fools in Sloatsburg PO. The staff here are genuinely helpful and in 10 year s of visiting have always been able to assist with broken mailbox keys, international mailing, held parcels, 1-2 day expedited delivery, xmas mailing etc Sometimes the line is long, but it;s a post office so what do you expect.

It has been 3 days since the usps driver left my medical equipment at the wrong house. No call backs, the driver hasn’t gone back to get my package. Shame SMH

Wish i could give zerro stars. Like come on... common sense there's a hole the size od a tennis ball dead in the middle of the packaging. It's been raining all day why would the mail carrier leave it on the porch steps IN THE RAIN!! What an imbecile

I came here on 11/14/23 @ 430 and stood in line for about 15 minutes patiently and pleasantly simply to weigh an envelope and purchase individual stamps for the cost of the letter. The attendant question me as to whether or not I was adding anything extra and cautioned me not to. Although I am all of 32 yrs old I graciously acknowledged his advice. He then proceeded to overcharged me 20cents for the simple fact that he did not trust me for what reason I do not know but can only assume. I immediately called my mother on speaker phone and she said that this made no sense and the attendant then took the stamps back and miraculously sold me stamps for the exact weight. When I say this was such a hurtful experience my heart is truly heavy that I have to navigate the world and have people look at me and treat me unfairly. I was hurt to say the least.

To be honest, I’ve only ever found helpful folks behind the desk at the Nyack post office.An example. Today I went to ship 4 separate insulated packages of Swiss chocolate and the clerk (Jessica) was super helpful and charismatic. She recommended the flat rate shipping sleeve to reduce the price and number of days it would take to ship the perishable items. Really saved my wallet and my worry about my gifts melting in the summer heat. ❤️

PROS: The staff was very nice and this post office was spacious. The building is historic and because of this the inside looks like the 1940s.CONS: There is only paid street parkingOVERALL: I will definitely come here if i ever needed to purchase something from the post office and if I'm in this area

Love this post office. The staff are so friendly, and the place is clean and well maintained. There's always a pen provided to write with. Also: the card stand is a hidden gem. The cards are very cute and modern and I've found a card for any occasion I've needed.

This post office gets worse and worse as time goes on, with the exception of a few mail carriers and a very few people who work at the window, service here is the worst.I have noticed the way some of us are greeted than other's, among other things. I do not understand why people who come unprepared can go to the window get sent away so they can do whatever needs to be done, are then able to get in front of the line while the rest of us have been waiting a long period of time to be taken care of . That person did not come prepared they should be made to go back on line.

Our carrier is a Dingbat! Sounds mean but she has lost mail, left mail at the wrong address and today had an important outgoing envelope, she pushed down the red flag/outgoing flag and put mail on top of it. The people inside Nyack PO are cool but this white chick needs to go. Only time in 40 years I’ve had problems with mail!
