Great wine selection! The folks that work there definitely know what makes for a good wine. We always make sure to stop by when we are visiting from brooklyn :)

As you can see from others saying it as well, the owner is very rude and unfriendly. I was entering the store with my spouse when the owner yelled at us to get out because the store was supposedly at capacity even though there were only two people in the store. Not to mention the part where she slammed and locked the door in our faces.

Me and my husband are big wine collectors and we wanted to check out this place for the first time. The owner slammed and locked the door in our faces right when we walked to the door saying they wouldn’t let us in. I can promise you we didn’t look like a threat. I’m at a total shock how someone so d*** and rude can run a business this way. However we walked down the block and dropped 10k elsewhere. The man at that store was extremely welcoming and kind. Maybe you should walk over to his place and ask him for tips.. because I will never try to visit your establishment again.

I’ve lived in Nyack for years the people are almost always nice. Never have I been yelled at and disrespected for trying to spend my money in an establishment.

I lived in the area for years and this was always my go to wine shop. The owners are friendly and very knowledgeable about wines.

We recently stopped into the shop for the first and service was great, got some great wine. On our second visit we brought a friend of ours to introduce him to a new great wine shop. Before even entering the store there was a new person there (assuming the co owner) working. She condescendingly asked if we were 21 and carded us, well that wasn't really a big deal for Us, but once we started browsing and looking at different wines she tells us, "please don't pick up any bottles in that section if you don't plan to buy, it would be very expensive to replace..."THE BOTTLE WE PICKED UP WAS $36!!!(we were taught to always look at labels, producers and importers when buying wine)We are just heartbroken because we thought we had a new locally owned wine shop to support one of our favorite pastimes. Which we tend to spend a lot of time and money on... We totally planned on buying a few bottles from the shop today. Now we are wineless and they lost the sale...

The owner was very unfriendly and unwelcoming. I stopped in to find my new local wine store after relocating from NYC last month. I asked if they had a certain variety of wine (light natural Montepulciano). After learning they had none, I was abruptly told, "dont stay in the store too long." Alas, I'll be taking my business back to MYSA and Chambers Street Wines delivery services which have great selections, prices, and customer service.

This place is such a find. Having lived in Los Angeles, where you can buy all kinds of wine at supermarkets and Trader Joe's, it's such a relief to find a place where the wine selections are curated by two real sommeliers with a terrific ability to find wonderful wines at all price points. There is a great selection of wines for under $20 that are just so drinkable, as well as more exclusive wines. Can't say enough good things about this place, and the two ladies who run it.

I came into Nyack Wine Cellar in need of several cases of wine for my wedding. The owners are so knowledgeable and suggested the perfect budget friendly and delicious wines. I was so happy I came here because I really wanted to make sure I had good wine at my wedding and they came through for sure!

The only place to buy Wine in Nyack. Owners only sell what they would buy from a price and quality perspective. You can't go wrong.
