The main reason I drive from Jersey to Nyack is to visit one of my very favorite record stores in the country - Main Street Beat. It’s cute as heck. It feels good in there and Jennifer, Amy and Ryan are just the best. I always have a great time in there, the selection is an adventure - you never know what you’re going to find and best of all, I always walk out happier than when I walked in, with gems in my bag. Records, cds, lapel pins, books. I get it all! ?☺️?

I’m so fortunate to have Main St Beat as my local record shop! Always find gems in the new arrivals section. Found some rarities today that I couldn’t pass up. Staff are always friendly and knowledgeable. Be sure to check out the $1/2 section as well. Always some cheap treasures to be had.

Not the best selection, but I always find something to get an a pile to bring home when I get it go to this record store in Rockland County more for the Records not CDs for the record selections. Pretty decent not perfect.

i don’t own a record player, but i always stop by whenever i’m in nyack to look at their vintage clothes. most of the jeans that i own i got from here, and despite the clothing section being so small they have such a good selection! they also have a case of cute funky jewelry :)

A truly marvelous record store, the cleanest and most organized I've ever seen. You will have no problem finding what you're looking for if it's here.Selection was moderate with plenty of new vinyl, all reasonably priced. Lots of interesting box sets too and a tidy collection of books.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars for Main Street Beat. Such a great, expansive collection of old and new favorites. Varied, vast knowledge of what's in demand and what people are shopping for. PLUS! They're Pointer Sisters fans which just made my heart sing. They know their stuff. Make sure to stop here!!
