erica cut and colored my hair 2 years while i lived in nyack and michelle artistically manicured my nails, provided soothing pedicures and structured my eyebrows. This duo has been missed since i moved to portland and i am setting up appointments now for august when i return to the area! Erica is indescribably talented. im sitting at home currently admiring my hair. I have been using Erica for the last several months and I am so glad that I found her. I have never truly had a good haircut in my almost 30 years of life. I have dry wavy hair that just never fell right on my face. I checked in today for my friend’s consultation with Erica. I was so taken, even though I was on the sidelines, I just had to write this review!! She’s incredibly knowledgeable, well communicator and generous with her time. Oh, that’s not all... she is so warm, so welcoming, so loving. If you are ever in need or just want a makeover she’s your gal!!! Did I mention that her salon is so clean so succulent, you won’t regret getting an appointment, not for one second!!!

My bridal party and myself had our hair and makeup done at Lief for my recent wedding. Erica is an expert and I felt comfortable with her from the get go. I had a hair cut, facial and highlights done at Lief prior to the day. The highlights were very natural which is exactly what I wanted. At the trial, Erica went through a number of potential hair styles until we found the right one. On the day of, she created a schedule for 4 bridesmaids, bride, mother of groom, and flower girl to ensure we were done in time for photos. The airbrush makeup was natural looking and held all night. Even the hair held through a night of dancing. The salon itself is very cute and comfortable. I highly recommend Lief!

Love love love everything and everyone about this place. Classy, relaxing full service establishment. They really care about you and make you feel like family. I would not trust my face or Eyebrows to anyone but Michelle. Dac is a master at color and cuts. Erika the owner is fun and positive , and an expert in her field. Laura the "shampoo girl" is wayyyy more than just that . You won't regret coming here.

We hired Erica and her crew for my December wedding in Tarrytown, NY. She had 5 girls total to beautify myself, my 9 bridesmaids, my mother, mother-in-law and new sister-in-law. She had prepared an extensive schedule in advance for the 13 of us starting at 8:30am on Saturday morning. We needed to be ready by 2pm for first look and bridal party photos. All the stylists and make-up artists took their time with each appointment. Erica left an hour for each session, 2 hours for each girl leaving time for touch-ups at the end. Somehow, and apparently according to my photographer, they always go over. Case stood true for here and we went over by about. an hour. It turned out to not be that big of a deal in the end, but I think it'd be better to either give even more time (although an hour each seemed plenty!) even though my hair and makeup took exceptionally long, as expected! After all, it was my day! Every one of my bridesmaids were so thrilled with how their hair and makeup came out that it was all worth it in the end! If we wanted airbrush, we were able to get it, and those wanting traditional make-up were able to get that as well. Most of the group also added lashes. I'm very happy with how the day turned out, everyone was well prepared, on time and looked fantastic! Thank you to Erica and the crew for making this happen!

I would trust no one else to do my highlights except Erica - she always does a fantastic job! The experience is truly relaxing and enjoyable from start to finish - I would also recommend booking Michelle for a mani-pedi while your hair is setting. She is incredible!

I absolutely love erica she did miracles on my hair with black hair she got it to a caramel brown ... Will deff go back to her !! Shes nice she describes her work before doing it on you and she will try all she has with what you want. I took 4-5 hours and she took good care of me .. I highly recomend her ,!
