We worked with Maiken Nielsen on the sale of our house in New City. We were immediately impressed with her understanding of our needs and timelines. Leigh Tripathi is so awesome. She took the time to listen to what we were looking for and showed us homes that we loved. She is such a patient and encouraging person. Leigh was always available when we needed her. She made us feel like we were her only client. We loved working with her. It is because of her exceptional experience in real estate and her compassion for what she does that I have decided to pursue a career in real estate. I could only hope to work as hard for my clients as she did for us. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to buy or sell their home.

Leigh was amazing trough the whole process. Always making sure that our needs were met and looking out after us.Really appreciated how involved she was with the search and after we had decided with the whole process.She was quick to responde to our messages and emails and always picked up the phone when speaking was a better option.Would recommend Leight without any doubt.

We hired Leigh to help us sell our home. She worked tirelessly, from explaining the market and the process, to being available for every single step. she was always a knowledgeable guide, a friend and an ear for us, no matter when, or how trivial. She put in the necessary time and effort to make this process as smooth as it could possibly be, and our satisfaction was her primary concern.Selling our home was an overwhelming prospect but using Leigh was the absolute right decision. She is patient and friendly & She knows the market inside & out. My wife and I just bought a new home in Valley Cottage, and we genuinely couldn't have loved working with Maiken Nielsen at Weld Realty more than we did. She not only consistently showed us homes that were up our alley, but - and this was even more important to us - after getting to know us, Maiken let us know which houses likely weren't for us. We'd sometimes reach out about properties we'd see on Zillow, and since she really took the time to get to know us, if Maiken didn't think those homes would be for us, she'd say so. That meant the world to us. Maiken wasn't just trying to sell us a house... she truly wanted to help us find the perfect house. She was in the trenches with us, genuinely invested. I've already recommended Maiken to a few friends. Anyone who works with her would be lucky to do so.

We worked with Maiken Nielsen of Weld Realty to purchase our first home, in Nyack, NY. We recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for great communication, clear perspective and a wealth of experience. Our initial forays into house hunting, as first-time homebuyers, felt somewhat overwhelming. Before meeting and working with Maiken, we felt a lot of pressure to make quick decisions based on information we didn't have much perspective on. When we met Maiken we immediately responded to how clearly she articulated possible concerns and considerations, and investigated our priorities. Maiken would calmly advise regarding factors we might consider, but we never felt pressure to move faster than we were comfortable. She helped us distill our priorities, and find a house that was a match for our needs, budget and dreams. She helped us locate value other shoppers might have missed, by advising us what might be easily within our means to change, and what might not be. Maiken's background in design, her knowledge of the area and her hard-working responsiveness were simply invaluable in getting us our first home. She was so generous with her time, patiently helping us figure out the strongest strategy for placing offers and being prepared for next steps. We are thrilled with our new home as well as Maiken's service as our buyer's agent. Those are the reasons to work with Maiken. But on top of that you'll get someone who is warm, intelligent, funny and a genuine pleasure to know and interact with. We worked with Leigh Tripathi for 10 months, all during Covid-19, and she was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and kind. Prior to working with us, Leigh helped my aunt and uncle find a home and before them she helped my sister find a home.
