Competent, honest, accommodating. I don't get the couple bad reviews. Kevin has serviced many makes of vehicles for our household for years and we've always been completely satisfied or even surprised with the value and pleased with the work and advice.

I've been coming here for quite a number of years and always thought the service and work was solid and honest, even if the front line personnel were not always especially pleasant.My last experience, however, was a different story. I was in for some basic maintenance work, and when I got the car back, it was not riding quite right. The issue was clearly related to the work that was done, but they refused to check it out without additional service charge. This didn't seem reasonable under the circumstances. I've spoken with several professionals in the field and described the situation to them. The consensus was that this follow-up check should've been included in the original service. It was disappointing.

Actual honest mechanic who doesn't do unnecessary things and tells you if you can wait or if it needs to be done now. Owned by husband and wife team, highly recommend.

Regarding the spoilers in this comment thread, haters gonna hate, as they say. Kevin's Ace Repairs has handled our family's automotive needs since 1993, and has done so with flawless expertise and impeccable professionalism--at fair market rates. Kevin is unfailingly ethical, never charges a penny over the going rate, and is never less than polite, respectful, and good-natured. His knowledge of auto mechanics is wide and deep, earned over a lifetime under the hood. Now that virtually everything in a car is computerized, taking the expertise out of his job, masters of his craft like Kevin are a dying breed. Cannot recommend Kevin's Ace Repair highly enough. (And no, I'm not a close friend, family member, or paid poster, just a thoroughly satisfied customer who wants to counterbalance the haters.)
