Herb Lack Paints is a Nyack family owned business. Joseph along with his wife and son are a fixture in the Village Nyack business district.. Don't be fooled by the Paints they have have a lot more than paints. They have a great supply of Benjamin Moore paint, and do custom blending as well. They also repair screens there, and any copy of a key they have made for us always works. Their inventory includes everything from Gorilla glue to snow shovels. The family is incredibly helpful. Highly recommend a visit.

I've always been very happy with Herb Lack. The store is well stocked and they are always very helpful to me and also my kids when I've sent them there on there on errands.

They’re rude. The previous owner was polite and kind, but everything changed when these people took ownership of this store. I live in Nyack and like to buy in town to help small business, but I also like to be respected.

I had an exceptional experience in looking for an item for my office. I did not think I would find this item anywhere nearby. The man at the front desk was friendly and directed me exactly where I needed to go and answered all of my questions. I'll definitely be back.

Very disappointed in this shop as their COVID precautions are non-existent. I always try to shop local whenever possible and support real people, but I will not be coming here any more. I went in earlier for paint - while waiting for service, the customer at the desk had his mask under his MOUTH and was talking with the owners about a friend who had COVID. I asked the owner quietly to have the man put his mask on. The owner ignored me. Another customer came to the register with mask under nose. When he left, I said to the owner that the mask doesn't work if its not over your nose and/or your mouth is exposed. He laughed at me and looked away. Absolutely rude and unsafe behavior. I will not be returning as a customer.

Friendly, efficient, knowledgeable staff. Family-owned business. I'm glad we have them in town. It is much more convenient than going to H.D. They are always happy to help and to mix paint ahead of time for pick up. Five stars.
