I was in the area doing a bit of spring cycling, and decided to stop in here to get a sandwich after going by and smelling a delightful smell. I went in a found that they make pulled pork and brisket, I went for a brisket sandwich ?. My only regret was not taking a picture before I ate it.

I am going to be is fair as I can in this review. I heard Fuller's had some pretty good barbecue. So I went there and started with a Mac and cheese. The girl seemed like she wanted to do anything else other than to serve me even though there was one customer in the store. I was going to try the burnt ends or pulled pork but I dont like to do business with rude people so decided no. So I bought this mac and cheese for over $12. And when I brought it home I'm pretty sure it had no seasoning but it's really sweet. I'll never know what your barbecue taste like because I'll never go back again! Maybe if you want repeat customers especially locals, you might want to train your staff to be semi-friendly. Lots of luck!

Stopped for lunch and browsed the marked up aldis merchandise. Waited in line at the sandwich counter, was told i have to order a pulled pork and coleslaw sandwich at the register… cool, waited in that line ordered and paid. Was then told by the children making the sandwiches that they had no coleslaw after waiting longer. Got my money back and left. Giant waste of precious lunch break time by people who clearly do not care if they’re in business. I didn’t even have time to go and see the married girl ive been talking to this week. Oh and you can use the bathroom there (portapotty) baking in the sun…. Stewarts is not that far. Ps. If you have a girlfriend and live in fulton county im probably trying to talk to her. K bye

Very nice store but I also had the brisket special to go at $20, the top two slices had some meat, the bottom were pure fat. The sides were inedible, potatoes were uncooked, like rocks.

The rare full service country store on the Sacandaga. Grateful for the resource as a full-timer up here.

Delicious food and friendly staff! On top of the groceries, beverages, and convenience items you would expect from any corner store they have a delicious selection of in-house smoked meats, home-made subs, salads, mac and cheese, and fresh baked goods. The workers make you feel like you're in the company of friends! I will be back very soon :)

Check your brisket carefully...I went in the other day and asked for a lb of brisket at $21.60 a pound, which should have stopped me right there. Like a fool, I didn't check it and the young girl wrapped it and I paid. When I got home and opened the package my eyes opened wide because the pound was almost entirely fat. Not marbled, solid fat. I got enough meat for 1 sandwich. I brought it back and the owner of course gave me a carefully cut pound. My advice is check it before they wrap it. At $21+ a pound you don't want hunks of fat. By the way, it was so-so.
