Been shopping there for years. Not really up on alcoholic beverages, but they've been helpful in answering my questions, from what wine to serve or use in a recipe to "Help! I've a guest who drinks gin. What's a reasonably priced gin for me to serve?"

I was there yesterday and purchased one bottle of liquor. The price posted was $13.99. I was asked if I wanted a receipt, and I said yes. When I got home, the receipt showed that I was charged the amount of $16.82, as follows: Amount: $16.33, and below that was a "Non-Cash Charge" of $0.49, for a total of $16.82. There was no charge for tax shown on the receipt. At $13.99 and the Suffolk County sales tax rate of 8.625%, the sales tax should have been $1.21 bringing the subtotal to $15.20. Adding in the mysterious "Non-Cash Charge", $0.49, the grand total should have been $15.69. I was charged $16.82. What was the $1.13 additional charge for??? The tax authority should be looking into this. I bought one bottle, can you imagine if I bought a case what the overcharge would have been! Stay away from here - these people are crooks!!

They have an excellent selection. There are a few newer and quite larger liquor stores around. But shockingly don’t have some of my favorite wines and rum. Port to Port does.Conveniently right next to Giuntas, which I also love.

Stopped in for the first time recently, and I think this is an OK enough liquor store if you live in the area. Prices are a tad high, selection is reasonable, and the woman at the counter seemed nice enough. The main thing dragging this review down is that I noticed on my receipt that I was charged a ~3% "technology fee," which I can only assume to be some kind of credit card surcharge. While I'm a supporter of local business and also understand that credit card processing fees are a cost that all businesses pay, I've always viewed this as nickel-and-diming (especially somewhere like a liquor store where this isn't common)- especially in an era where less and less people are carrying cash. I also didn't see a sign posted for this... but I wasn't really paying attention, so I can give some benefit of the doubt there. For me, this kinda tips the scale from "I'll keep it in the rotation" to "unlikely to be back"

Recently bought out and now under poor management. I used to come here and spend $2-3 more per bottle because of the excellent service and knowledge of wine. New management is unprofessional, inexperienced, and unfriendly. Such a shame - this place used to be the best locally.

Standard liquor store, convenient if you shop @ Giunta's next door. I've always found their staff to be friendly, but it doesn't strike me as like a Seaholm, with staff on hand to help you select a wine (and you pay for the service in the prices). If you want to shop at Bottle Bargains or Bottles & Cases (pretty sure same people), go ahead, they're good too, but the cost difference is not that much, and besides, BB always has longer lines than Port to Port. I also have no idea what Keith C is talking about, I've never smelled anything bad outside, and I'm at Giunta's every week.

Great selection and very knowledgeable staff. They know their stock of wine and can guide you very effectively. If they don't have what you want, they can order it. Case discounts. My go to place.
