Great toy store, helpful friendly staff!! Yes it's a bit cluttered but theres tons to choose from in such a small space, and I thought it was cozy and cute. My only suggestion is to put prices on the items. But even with that, the staff was available and helpful with telling the prices. Great free wrapping too. A little Expensive but worth it! I found things you don't see in big box stores.

I purchased a Ricky the Rain Frog bag charm from them to be shipped to me. They have a really nice Jellycat selection, and I was very glad that they had the bag charm in stock. It got packed and shipped promptly and arrived in around a week! It came packaged very nicely and in a sturdy box. I now have my beautiful little jumbly frog and I adore him.

Not only a magical and super special toy store, but a place where one can buy beautiful (and pricey) baby clothes, too.Einstein's Attic brings out the kid in adults. So, imagine how children will respond to a visit, or a present from there?I could not give it four and a half stars, by checking on the stars, but in my review, allow me to do so, please.My only negative words stem from the very crowded back area of this long, narrow store. Often, there are boxes left there, waiting to be unpacked with merchandise and displayed, but that often interferes with browsing through the over-stuffed displays of the clothing that is hung up for sale!It's very hard to look through those items and that is not customer friendly, In addition, a few times when I visited the store to buy baby clothes, a young sales associate was helping someone else and would not give me the opportunity to browse, too. When I mentioned that to the owner or her mother (both of whom are most friendly and helpful, they apologized and asked if they could assist me. I let them and came away with nice presents.Still, I wish the baby clothes were easier to browse through on my own! Oh, well, I am picky!All in all, if there are special children in your life whom you wish to pamper with lovely gifts, shop at Einstein's Attic! There is something that will become a favorite of every child. Prices range from the pretty pricey to moderate, butd you can't get more unique toys anywhere! (Clothing, too).My little niece loves the little purse with a teeny stuffed dog peeking out of the slightly open zipper at the top of it, I bought her last year.. My sister says she went to a local toy store in Atlanta to purchase a few more teeny animals, just in case the little doggie that came with the purse gets lost. For a year, she didn't have to use one of her purchases, but just recently, she and my niece didn't realize that the purse wasn't closed properly and on one of their shopping trips, the doggie fell out and couldn't be found. Oh, well, thank goodness for the stash of cute animals my smart sister bought in case of emergencies!My friend's little girls absolutely loved their gorgeous French made little kitchen that was purchased at Einstein's attic around six years ago. It came in one piece, I recall, and had a little sink, stove, refrigerator and counter. It was well made and painted in delicate tones. My friend has only one problem with that purchase. "I have two girls and I think one day, they will each hope to inherit that kitchen to pass on to any children they may have!" She still is sorry she didn't buy two. "We couldn't afford that, though," she said.

I have 8 grandchildren and my grandkids are thrilled every time I bring them a gift from Einsteins Attic! I don’t shop anywhere else because they have the most unique toys and because the owner and staff are so helpful and friendly. It’s a fun experience to shop there! The last time I shopped there my grandchildren loved the detective kit and the mouse game! I couldn’t decide about which game and the owner gave suggestions because she said she plays every game that comes in the store. That is real dedication to her clients! Thank you Einstein’s Attic for making every birthday and holiday a fun one!

Einstein’s Attic was the highlight of my sons trip to Northport! Wall to wall toys! The people were so friendly and accommodating. 5 stars!

If your in a pinch and don't want to drive to far I suggest you come here as they have just about everything imaginable. They have everything literally from dolls to slime. Since they have just about everything that comes with it's own problem the store is very cluttered. Everywhere you walk you have to be extra cautious. Tripping hazards galore. The items are severely marked up. For instance twister will cost you $26.99 at Einstein's attic or $16.99 at target or even $14 on Amazon. I am all for small business but I have to do what's best for my budget. Once again if your in a pinch head here and while your at it take a walk down main street it sure is a beautiful location. But if time is on your side and looking for a bargain seek elsewhere. Hope this helps.

Great selection of toys, and the staff have always treated my family more like individual people instead of random customers.It seems many of the negative reviews about Einstein's Attic are about wanting more, more, faster, faster, cheaper, cheaper. That's not really what I expect when I'm in downtown Northport. And do we really want that all the time, in every aspect of our lives? Overloading our schedules, expecting instant gratification and becoming more and more impatient? This a place to find a thoughtful gift.If (and I mean if, because I've definitely had quick service as well when they're not busy) you have to wait in line while someone else's present is specially wrapped just for them, appreciate that unique service and maybe get a present wrapped yourself. Or give yourself a little extra time.We're looking forward to stopping by again soon!

This is a great little toy store. That said, I wish the owners would put the price on the items. My kids and I waited 15 minutes just to get a price while the store worker was wrapping gifts for someone else. We mentioned just wanting a price and were still told to wait, even seeming annoyed that we were annoyed (we had been patiently waiting for 10 minutes at that point). After 15 minutes, in a super crowded store (filled with items which is great but makes it impossible to pass other shoppers), with several kids with hacking coughs nearby, we had to give up and left. I hate to criticize any smallBusiness but this was not the first time we've spent a loong time just trying to get a price to see if we even wanted to buy the item or should look for something else (and there was a woman behind us waiting for the same thing). The store has a great selection and we love to support local but we truly hope they get a better system and add prices on their items to eliminate unnecessary waiting .

Einstein's Attic was an absolute pleasure to visit. With ease, I was to find the perfect gift for my niece's first birthday (she absolutely adores her new doll)! Please check out this local toy store before you jump to purchase anything elsewhere. The pricing is extremely comparable, they will beautifully wrap your gift and the best part is that you're supporting an incredible local business for children! There is no doubt in my mind this is the place I will frequent for incredible gifts for all ages!

Had the best experience at Einstein’s attic today!!! The store is beautiful!! There are so many toys, floor to ceiling!! Irene is amazing, my boys were in love with her and all of the wonderful toys!! I love that there is a toy store I can still bring my boys to, we will for sure be going back!!!

They sell Jellycats here. Such a nice variety and I bought a hard to find Jellycat dragon! A little on the pricey side but it is also family owned so that is reasonable.
