I dread going there, I only go when I’m desperate. Zero support, long lines and a stupid rewards program. Scan a bar code instead of asking us all to give our phone numbers out loud. It’s not like I’m saving any money. I’ve called to ask if something was back in stock and told it was only to get there and them tell me it wasn’t. ??♀️ I am a huge Karps fan, but the new owner isn’t keeping the vibe or inventory. I’m crushed.

I spent over 40 mins in this store trying to find what I needed. One young man at the counter. No help on the floor. So I'd go back to the counter andsay I don't see carwash soap in that aisle. I did this for about 4 items. Where is the Great Stuff? Needed two hole straps for pipes. I had no clue this was considered electrical. Well, now I am lost in that aisle cause I can't find it. But I now notice there are two young men behind the counter. Not one of them offered to show me. God forbid they help a customer. I was so annoyed at the lack of customer service that I left my cart with items in it by the front door. You can't be bothered to help me, I can't be bothered to shop there.This woman isn't going back to this store. I went to Karps instead. I suggest you do the same. As soon as I walked in, I heard what can I help you with today? 4 employees ready and willing to help you.

Worst hardware store in the Town of Huntington. Staff is not friendly or helpful/knowledgeable. Lines are sometimes out of the door with no back up. It’s very rare that you will find the plumbing fitting you will need. Hands down the WORST. Go to Karp’s instead.

On 12/21 I came in to buy a drill that Ace website said they had in stock. The store didn't have it (not their fault, corporate messed up). They purchased the drill for me and set up my rewards account so that I'd get the sale I was looking for. Told me they'd receive the item a week later on 12/28. I came in on 12/28. Not only did they not have the best item, they had no record of the purchase (credit card shows charge on 12/21). I stood there for 20 mins while they tried to find the record of the purchase. The manager, Kirk, told me I'd here from him later in the day after he'd been able to look into it. Honestly, I was never sure Kirk understood what the issue was or what I wanted to happen. He was simultaneously suggesting I could purchase it for arrival at a later date (I already had a credit card charge! I didn't need to buy it again), and that he could refund the charge. I'm writing this review a full day after that, and no word. On top of all that, yesterday their phone wasn't taking incoming calls. I tried multiple times and even called Ace corporate to see if they could help me reach the store (they weren't). When I informed Kirk of this, he suggested there was an issue on my end (either my phone wasn't working or I didn't know how to dial their number? Not sure). So this 1 star is for whoever messed up the original purchase, but also the dismissiveness and lack of follow through from manager Kirk.

Hit or miss. Sometimes they have what I'm looking for, sometimes they don't. Usually only one person on the register and one or two others floating around the store.

They are always helpful. The young woman that helped me today was very nice. I will always go there rather than the awful Home Depot in Huntington.

Not very helpful. I attempted to pick up chain saw bar oil for a recently purchased pole saw. The store was understaffed. The one young person was running around avoiding eye contact with anyone who might ask him a question. I tried unsuccessfully to find it myself. No luck. This so-called "customer service" reminds me of being in computer stores back in the day where the staff couldn't bear to interact with customers. Only now when I go to my local computer store they are much more helpful, almost intrusively though. So now I can't think of a reason to go here rather than home depot. At least at home depo they have an app that would tell me what aisle the item is located.
