“I recently came here with my turtle Rexie, right from the start there was a calm aura and both receptionists are super nice. The assistant and vet were both super nice and patient. The vet was super gentle with rexie, and rexie actually let her hold her head. I was so shocked. But of course, once she realized what happened, she didn't let her do it again, lol. They also helped me stay in my budget, which was perfect. But rexie did perfect, and so did they. 100% will be coming back in the future. Wonderful people who work there.”
“Receptionist staff was very accommodating and extremely kind. They got me in same day even though I was not a patient of theirs. Although I am now! The tech was very sweet to my cat and showed real compassion with the situation. The vet came in and gave my cat a treat right away to help ease her and she loved her like I would. She gave me all the information I needed to help with further issues and answered all my questions.
Truly a great experience. I would recommend 10 times over.”

Our dogs have no fear of going to this Vet office, and they enjoy all of the happy and kind attention they receive when they have an appointment. Dr.Olsen puts our dogs at ease with his gentle approach to them and all of the Vet Techs and Associates are the same way. We feel fortunate to have Dr.Olsen and Staff as our Vet.”
“All of these negative reviews disgust me. If I didn't move, I'd still be going to McBride. Dr Parkhill is one of the most sincere and reasonably priced vets I have ever had. From fitting me in last minute for not one, but two separate cat situations (one for my senior seizure kitty Stella) and (one for when I rescued three kittens from the woods at camp) to just overall yearly appointments for my three adult cats. She was great and througho. Answered EVERY question or concern I had in full, and always gave me more than one option when it came to medical requirements for the cars, giving me a choice to decide what I felt would be best in my situation. As for the front desk staff you guys complain about, just like any other human if you're nice to them, they'll be nice to you. Don't walk in all miserable or yelling. You'll get the same respect you dish out. Five stars for McBride and if I ever return to the Tonawandas I will be going right back to them”

“Dr Malo and staff have been taking care of 3 of my dogs through their lifetimes. He is amazing! He treated my Golden retriever with such gentleness when the dog had a tumor and surgery. He also fixed my little dog's severe anxiety. I highly recommend this clinic!
EDIT: I reduced this to 4 stars because of the staff. Every single time I call I get put on hold for 5-10 minutes, then they pick up and put me on hold again. Doc..get another person to answer the phones!!”

Panda absolutely adores going to the vet, which I assume is quite rare, but I believe it's because everyone there exudes love and affection, something dogs can easily pick up on. Their extremely knowledgeable, boarded Drs. haven't steered me wrong yet. They have connections to put you in touch with qualified specialists if needed, which I did. The entire staff is friendly and helpful. Great place to take your pets for health care if you want the best for them.”
“I've been taking my dilute tortie, Eowyn, to West Side the whole time I've lived on the west side. They always take such good care of her and help me monitor her weight and pancreatitis and any other health issues that she may start having as an aging cat. She found a heart murmur in my younger dog that the specialist had a tough time finding. She said dr decker is a really good vet. It took me some time to find it. Highly recommend”

“Back in 2007, not long after we relocated to WNY, we were referred by some friends to Dr. Parisi/St. Francis for our dog, Molly. Dr. Parisi took care of Molly, (a Beagle mix) for over 10 years before she passed in 2018.
When Molly started getting older and started to slow down, we adopted Haley (She's a Terrier mix) . Then we got Moonshine (Chihuahua mix) . Along came Evie (Rat Terrier/Poodle mix, (AKA 12 pounds of meanness LOL) who sadly developed kidney failure only 2.5 years after we adopted her. But she was 13 when she came to live with us after she had been on the streets for who knows how long. Last Christmas we adopted Daisy (a highly neurotic Cavie mix)
Suffice it to say, Dr. Parisi and his staff have taken care of all our dogs for nearly 20 years. We have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Parisi, Abby, & Sage.
If it's not obvious, we highly recommend St. Francis!”
“I’ve been to A LOT of vets, for routine and emergency procedures. All of them prior besides OSU seem to price gauge and seem to care more about the green other than the animals. I truly believe many vets in this area are part of some sort of conglomerate and keep prices similar and attempt to crush those that do not comply.
This vet, completely goes against that norm. This was my first experience with them, for teeth cleaning / removal along w a fat mass removal on my Beagle. They were 1/2 the price of other vets in area ($1,500-$2,000 compared to over $3,000).
Not only that, a pet peeve of mine is vets requiring payment prior to treatment, which all in area do. DRIVES ME NUTS! It was refreshing to drop off my dog here and have them say, “we will call you when she’s ready!” And not pull out my credit card. Like it’s my dog, I’ll pay for it. Gerber gets it!
When I went to get my Pup the bill was BELOW the LOW end of estimate!! I’ve also never had that. I always come in expecting to pay high end or over as I always have before. I have had an animal die on the table and they billed the high end!! Apparently the complete procedure was 100% complete and the animal died (w/o CPR) AND they apparently used everything they estimated on the high end. Ridiculous.
Will Gerber always be below low end? No, of course not, things happen. But it is just so nice to see people caring about animals and not nickel and dimeing.
Lastly, speaking of nickel and dimeing her nails were trimmed AND ears cleaned spotless! They didn’t call and ask to do that for the extra $15-$30 other vets charged. They just did it, free of charge!
It’s just unheard of nowadays. All these extras, below budget, friendly, pay at pick up.
They truly care for the customer and I can’t put into words how grateful and happy I am. Thank you!”
“After finding a stray kitten, the VCA animal hospital got me in within 24 hours to check the little guy out. They handled the extremely scared kitty wonderfully and got him a test and vaccine to start him off on his new life. I can’t thank them enough, and if I wasn’t getting the little guy to a rescue/kitten socializer, I’d make them my regular veterinary office.”
