“I was in Canada , when error codes popped up on my dash. I called this Ryder dealer and they told me we'll take a look at it as soon as you get here. Within 5-10 minutes of my arrival , they had their laptop plugged in diagnosing the problems. They ended up having to give me a substitute unit. I noticed a couple problems someone probably didn't report when whomevet used it and returned it . When I brought it to the Service Managers attention , he had a mechanic jump right on the issues. That's what I call Customer Service ..!!”

“The super professional gentleman who owns the location (Mo possibly?) was absolutely fantastic! Was able to get me checked in and off within a reasonable time. I will state that this location is in the city so if I had anything larger than the 10' truck I had it made have been difficult to get it into the available lot. Although it wasn't his responsibility the owner was super helpful about getting the care trailer connected to my truck; Thank you so much! His store was well stocked & very clean and I wish I hadn't of eaten earlier so I could've tried some of their fresh food. Thank you again.”

“My overall experience at this uhaul location was amazing, the desk agent was very friendly and while the computer was being difficult she made the wait an absolute pleasure. The trailer was great and just what I needed, I originally wanted a car dolly but they didn't have any, however they did have a car trailer and it wasn't much more. The location was a bit out of my way for what I was doing but I've gotta say I think I'll probably use this location from now on. A+”

“I rented a truck from Mary who is a private dealer for U-Haul in Lockport, NY. She was very friendly and helped me rent my U-Haul Truck on a Sunday at 10:00 am in the morning when most other U-Haul Dealers were closed in the area! I then had the truck for an extra day that was unexpected. I feel asleep and forget to call Mary and tell her that I will have the truck back to her Monday evening once I got out of work. I then dropped the keys off in the drop box at 7:45pm Monday Night! Well the estimated charge was suppose to be right around $90.00... Well Corporate U-Haul sent me an invoice for $188.46 for renting the truck! I was very upset that a 2 day rental with 55.4 miles costed me $188.46... So I called Mary to figure out why on Gods Green Earth was my bill so high (DOUBLE) what she quoted me for the truck rental. Well corporate was the one charging me for an extra day due to me not having the truck back before dispatch closed on Monday! So I got charged for a 3 day rental when I only had the truck for a total of 34 hours. I called Mary and she explained what had happened and why the bill was double. So I was charged $29.99 x (3)Days plus tax came to $89.95 + $43.77 In mileage = ( 55.4 miles x .79 ) Insurance came to $42.00 and $2 Fee Plus NY TAX.... TOTOAL = 188.46 I was very upset and asked Mary what we could do about this situation. Corporate tried to charge me for 3 Days and I only had it for 34 hours... so Mary called her manager and explained the situation... Well Mary told me that she would take off the last day rental and insurance cost. Mary really did a great job on her behalf on getting me my money back from Corporate! I told Mary if she did not call me back I just would not have paid the bill due to being quoted wrong! Well her manager approved the one day of rental and one day of insurance subtracted off my bill due to me not having the truck more than 48 hours! Thanks Mary I do appreciate you helping me out with this business matter! Next time I move I will be going through your Authorzied U-Haul Dealership due to the great work you have done on resolving this matter. Total came to $143.60 for the truck rental which was better than $188.46 Corporate was trying to charge me for a 2 day insured U-Haul Truck that drove 55 miles round trip! Mary if you did not help me I probably would have not payed the bill and would have let it gone to collections due to the charges being incorrect. Because you went above and beyond U-Haul will still be my preferred truck rental service! U-Haul should send you a check for the $48.00 for your retention efforts! Once Again Thanks Mary Nicholas M Cirelli”

“I often need to rent vehicles from this location and have yet to be let down. They have a wide variety of vehicles onsite. Tuesday, was there picking up a vehicle for work travel and was able to witness the outstanding customer service provided in a very high stress interaction. The associate politely educated and humored the customer although from what I witnessed, the customer was wrong. I could appreciate the associate keeping his cool and adhering to company policy without being rude or condescending.”
