Bought precooked breaded butterfly shrimp. The breading alone was like shoe leather. The shrimp was either cut down or so over cooked that it was less than 1/4 inch thick. The Market management should taste their own food before they start putting out for sale.

Stopped in to grab a rotisserie chicken to make dinner easy for the third time in 2 weeks. Not one time was there a ready rotisserie chicken to be had. But there was plenty of employees every single time standing around talking about personal things. I've given up at this point I'll just go to Walmart to get my rotisserie chicken. Tried to shop local and support a local business. But they actually make it impossible

Went there for fish dinner on a Friday after 4pm. Was surprisedly happy, and you can't beat the price... 2 fish dinners for 20 and change... I will not hesitate to make this my norm... Stop in and check it out, I would like to hear about your experience...

The past two times I bought steak from Budwey’s Market In The Square, rib-eye and T-bone steak, they were tough and not worth the effort to eat them.

This place has grown on me this year. Not enough to warrant a five star review, mind you, but I actually need more than one hand to count how many times I've been in there now, and that's saying a lot, because when it comes to grocery shopping, I am a creature of habit.While they aren't the best with brand name low prices, with Walmart and Aldi right up the street, they excel at in store offerings. Their bakery has some great offerings (there is a small cult following of their donuts in my circle) and I've heard they have better quality meat offerings compared to their competitors in town. There's a tempting case of to go meal choices by the deli, including sushi and fish fry. If you're looking for the basics, they do hold some pretty good sales if you take the time to look for them. They're my go to place in the colder months with rock bottom prices on apples and squash while it's in season, and they've held a few bogos that make me swing by the store to stock up. They've got a bottle room for returns, with recycling bins for the pesky non-redeemable plastics that get mixed in. They've got a large parking lot so you don't have to fight for a spot. And there's a coupon kiosk where you can print off savings. You can even load coupons to your store account (as simple as typing in a phone number) to earn points towards free stuff. Because who doesn't like free donuts?This isn't my go to place, but has become a going to place, one worth checking into.

The smaller store gets you in and out much quicker and they don't force products down your throat like the bigger grocery stores.

Bought fish today. It was sour and stank. Called and talked to manager. He said I had to bring the product the stinky fish back for refund. Seriously you want me bring the bad stinky fish in my car.Doug Gregory

Most prices are comparable to to big food stores, some are better here like the steaks are cheaper. But the meats don't come individually packaged in family packs like at bigger stores, and not all products have a cheaper generic option. Lighting is dim and sometimes causes headaches.

Just was in store to buy a dozen donuts... Not like they used to be... barely any apple filling in donut and smaller than they used to be. Very disappointing.

I used to love to go to this store even though it was out of the way for me. Aside from feeling like I stepped into the 90's which was nice, it's less hectic than navigating a typical larger supermarket and parking lot. Upon my returning there this week, I was shocked at the prices. I know prices have gone up everywhere but over $7 for a large half and half that is under $5 everywhere else? There are other examples but this one sticks out in my mind. For this reason I'm giving it 3-stars. Hope things even out so I can enjoy shopping here again.

I always stop here when im grilling they have awesome meat deals. Do yourself a favor and get a doughnut or something sweet from the bakery too you won't regret it.
