“Very cute store. It had a lot of nice books and a space for the kids to read and play. The owner is super sweet and friendly. We can't wait to go back again.”
“Started getting my books here after my local comic shop closed. It's a bit of a trek in comparison to my local comic shop but they make up for it with such easy subscription options via the app. You get emails for all your comics well ahead of thyme and they don't harp on you to come in and get your comics. There's plenty of back issues and boxes full of old comics to sift through. Definitely give them a try!”
“I love bookstores generally, but local shops that are based in my community always offer the best service. Taking Leaves is the kind of place that puts little summaries and staff recommendations on the shelves where you find the book. They go to great lengths to be helpful, too. Love this place. (Head to The Aurora Caffe [sic] next door after to read your purchase.)”

The owner and employees are cool as hell and play good music and have weird (in a good way) and interesting shtuff around the space. I adore being in here. Please check it out and support it.”

“Highly recommend selling your textbooks here! I recently changed my major in college and have a lot of old textbooks. I got some quotes off the website for them prior to going to the store. The customer service was great and I look forward to going back there with more of my textbooks in a few weeks! Offers were reasonable and this is a much easier process than trying to sell the books online on my own. Once again HIGHLY RECOMMEND!”
“I'm amazed by how many fungal books they had (what I went in for, wasn't expecting much at all). I bought a great lichen field guide and the book seller was very kind and helpful. I helped him identify a bird that was trapped in the store earlier that day! Hope the little guy is ok.”
“Our first time in was so enchanting! The owner was absolutely heartwarming and made fast friends with our little one. Great selection of all sorts of used books. Yay for environmentalism! Prices are great and the book conditions were all excellent that I saw.”
“I've always liked it here, but yesterday was perfect. I was in a rush and needed to find some very specific birthday gifts. Sky walked around the store with me and helped me find everything I needed. The girls at the coffee shop were very nice, too.”
“A great independent book store who provided much knowledge about African American graphic novels. They were especially helpful during the Black Lives Matter movement. I am very grateful for the help they provided and the direction given.”
“I finally got to go into the bookstore for the first time some months back I gotta say it looks really nice inside and they have tons of books and other things you can get as well”

And at the University ofNiagara University, Graduate School; just to extend my graduate education.I had considered back then to continue my education in a Post Graduate Program for aDoctorate Degree. But decided to changemy mind.Prior to formerly entering both undergraduateand graduate schools, I had also served in the military, during the Vietnam War.I attended undergraduate & graduate schools when I was in my early to late 20s. And, as well, into my 30s when I had attended graduate schools.I also had taught school In grades: K - College, in a variety of academic disciplines. Now into my 70s. 4018 Union Rd, Buffalo“Really cool old school comic store. TONS of bins to go through, and for the size, sorted pretty well. They mentioned a possible new location. That would be nice since its a bit tight, but its kinda fun like that too. Great prices too. If you are searching for missing issues, this is the perfect place to go.”
“Great place for UB merchandise. Hoodies, shirts/pants, collectibles, license plate frames etc. Friendly staff to help. Graduation gowns and university dresses are available by ordered and fitment.”
“Very kind and professional business! Always had any questions answered within 1 day. The managers and staff are lovely people. Our apartment was nice and clean! My roommate and I loved living here.”
“This place has a lot of books and pictures. I was looking for original Tom Swift or Rover Boys books and found both. I could have wandered through the aisles for hours. Highly recommended.”
