Location is everything for this hotel/motel because there was little else to make it worth the money. Although it was clean and the bed was comfortable, the bedding was thin, the towels were threadbare, looked dirty and didn't match - I should have taken pictures. The faucet had a sweet spot that wouldn't scald you. TV remote was inefficient with only offering channel up, channel down access. Wifi was not clear which to pick as there were at least 5 EconoLodge wifi available, check in didn't state this, just gave the password. Looked like the owners were camped out in the tiny lobby for the night, complete with blanky and curled up on the couch. Desk clerk was decent so no complaints there and it was very quiet despite being just off airport property. For over $100/night, they can do *way* better!

When our flight was canceled we had to find a room for the night. From the moment of rhe first call to When we checked out, the service was outstanding. Within 15 mins of our booking and saying we needed shuttle service, we were met with van service just for us. Owner, manager & staff were all friendly, professional & willing to help in any manner. When we were ready to return to airport next morning again immediate service...we checked out then van took us right away to airport.Room were clean, up to date, and well laid out. Being near airport did hear planes and could hear folks outside. Also AC would cool to temp then turn off. Tried to keep constant fan but didn't work.Overall we definitely would stay again. Customer service meant so much!

We arrived about an hour earlier than our designated check-in time, and were greeted by a lovely staff at the front desk. I didn't catch the gentleman's name but he, and his coworker, I didn't get hers either, provided great service over the long and arduous check-in process. While we waited for the check-in to be complete, I went off and explored the main room in the lobby. Beautifully ordained with a wide array of snacks and coffee just waiting for the morning to come. The main bathroom in the lobby was quaint and doubled as a storage closet for cleaning supplies, it was extraordinary in every sense of the word. After check-out was finalized, we realized we had accidentally booked a smokers-room, while neither of us actually smoke cigarettes. Shame. We believed, with a little bit of luck, we'd be able to get a room change, but unfortunately, the man at the front desk informed me of the bad news. Clearly demonstrating how wondrous and fantastic this lodging is, the hotel had no vacancies in our price range. Alas, we were left to a bottle of Febreze and some elbow grease. Once inside our room, on the first floor so we could park right up to the door, we found it to be something splendidly foreign that we could not help find novelty in. The walls, the lampshades, the top-covers, the furniture, and even the bathroom emanated an odor similar to that of tobacco smoke. While not necessarily present, we couldn't help but delight in the task we had ahead of us. We got the room cleaned up to our liking, and left it to bask in the air fresheners we had picked up. One noteworthy detail I'll add in this section is the decor they chose to furnish our room with, very odd, but I believe it adds to the allure of the hotel itself. We had an unfinished Jacuzzi tub in the corner of our room, we thought it must work, but with a few taps, nothing whirred to life. While disappointed, we couldn't help but find beauty in the uncovered drywall.Check-out went smoothly the morning after, we simply turned in our cards and left!Kudos to the staff for maintaining such a safe, clean, and family-friendly environment for such a good price!Rooms: We had an unfinished jacuzzi in the corner of our room!Nearby activities: There is an Aldi across the road!

Used the Choice Hotels app to find a motel in Syracuse on the way back from Florida. The hotels were mostly booked, but this motel came up, and I booked it. The property is hard to find and not overly appealing. Check-in was not very pleasant but was assigned a room . The room was made but stank of smoke. Had asked for non-smoking. Furniture was also in very poor condition. Since it was late, I asked for another room. The second room was not cleaned yet. It also looked like it had seen better days. I travel a lot, and this is one of the worst motels I have seen. Got my money back and left. I will notify Choice Hotels about this.

The bathroom was gross (dust and hair everywhere).Few breakfast options that were all unhealthy.Too expensive for what you get.Do yourself a favor and spend $20 more on a better hotel room.

If you love looking out at a car repair this place is for you. No elevator do prepare to lug your suitcases. THE STATE FAIR WAS IN TOWN & WE WERE NOT AWARE. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

I should have turned around when a couple was sleeping in the lobby! Blankets and all! Toilet and sink was leaking. Reported it, they said they fixed it. Only to find they Only put a garbage can under the sink! Terrible!

The rooms were very poor and the area is very shady. It is an old building and poorly maintained. Over-priced, the room assigned to us had not been cleaned though we arrived after the advertised check-in time. Staff seemed confused. Floors were filthy in the room; bathroom had been renovated recently. Air quality was poor.

Sketchy people everywhere. Decent place to lay down and stay dry, but from the looks of things, lock your car. Strong smell of dope in the hallways. Spare crutches in stairwell? Looks like several tenets live here. I had no real issues staying there, but I will avoid this place in the future if possible.

Was in a jam recently and found this place tucked away near a car lot, but close to the airport.Service was really good and the room was clean, bug-free (highly important), and the bed was clean with good pillows. The room I was in had a jacuzzi that was being built in it, so it wasn't ready when I stayed there.I was even able to get a shuttle ride to the airport for an early am flight.In addition, when my early am flight was delayed and then cancelled, I reached out to them and she had a room available for me, which was equally as great as the first one I stayed in the night before.Really enjoyed the hospitality and service, plus wonderful conversation. Price was affordable for what I needed, which wasn't a lot as I don't need much to get rest and cleaned up hahaIf I ever need to return to Syracuse, this place is my only choice!

The room was flithy. There was feces in the toilet. The toilet had not been cleaning it ourselves. It took 4 weeks to get my deposit back. Won't stay there again.

We booked this place because it said that it had a hot tub we got there and they didn’t have a hot tub only in one room which is the king so i was already a little upset but then we looked at the room then i was done it was disgusting and dirty ill put photos here there was hair and brown stuff in the sink the door was hairy and sticky there was cigarette burns on the bed in the mon smoking room it also smelt like wet dog and cigarettes the chair was dirty and ripped up the beds were also very dirty and so we went to ask for out money back and the dude got angry at us for it and attempted to assault one of us but finally agreed to refund us still waiting to get the money back but overall this was a bad experienceRooms: DISGUSTINGLY DIRTYSafety: Looks like someone would break in and watch me sleepNoteworthy details: Dirty and he might throw a pen at you for complaining

The room was simple and clean. The bed was super comfy and the sheets were very soft. Fridge, Keurig in room. The 2nd floor has been renovated with wood floors, new paint. It's probably easier than rugs to keep clean. Continental breakfast- bagels, oatmeal, cereal, fruit and pastries. The big selling point here is the staff. From the manager to front desk to housekeeping, all were very friendly and helpful. Thank you all for accommodating me to have a late checkout and to set up work in your lobby.
