Ordered multiple drinks and they made us (their customers) go to the bathroom in a porta potty in the pouring rain. Awful service and extremely disappointed.

The rustic, country outdoor ambience of Hardscrabble Cider on a summer day is unparalleled... with music playing, the flower truck on site, a seafood truck ( oh, the crab cake over hash browns, yum!), the country store, and made-to-order, fresh-cooked food counter ( chicken thai sandwich \\u0026 sweet potato wedges are fabulous, but they warn, up to an hour wait for order to be ready) and the lemon blueberry shandy made for a great experience. ( Oh, the mimosa was equally yummy!) Highly recommend!

Met up with friends here. We were a group of 9 on a Thursday. Able to find some shady seats right away. More picnic tables and benches in the back too. The food was excellent and had a variety to please all the palates. The cider was great. If they have the Dirt Beet cider, definitely give it a go. I previously had the Bloody Mary, and that was very well mixed.Sometimes the chickens run around and there are goats in the back that love to be petted.

If you're into dry ciders, this is the place for you. An onsite restaurant and Beautiful outdoor scenery are two strong attractions.

World-class cider, seriously (I've tried the good ones from Normandy and Finger Lakes). Their regular and their Citra (with beer hops) are seriously fantastic. They also make some experimental ciders, which, like all experiments, may or may not float your boat. Hence the dude who hated their kooky one-off beet cider so much that he one-starred the whole operation. Me? I appreciate local places doing great work and also coming up with kooky one-off experiments that sometimes don't hit 100%. The farm stand is even more underrated, but I'll go to that separate page to review.

Excellent hard cider. Really wonderful flavors while maintaining dry characteristics. Definitely will return. The farm store was also filled with fun and yummy stuff.
