The great game of chess: this store has a variety of chessboards, board games, accessories, and more for any enthusiast. Finn was warm and welcoming during our shopping experience. He even gave us some useful pointers on playing. We loved the giant chess pieces and the novelty displayed in every corner of the store. Highly recommended especially for a personalized experience like no other.

I was gifted a chess set from here, but then my dog chewed up 4 pieces. I emailed customer service to see if the individual pieces could be replaced. They quickly emailed back and told me to call. My phone call was immediately picked up by a real person, and he was so helpful! I am getting my pieces replaced quickly and for a very reasonable price. This is a great small business that everyone should support. Wonderful products and fantastic service.

Great place, staff was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable when I was looking into games that I could play with my kids. They super enthusiastic as to help and talk about each game as well. When I was debating whether or not to get a game then or later they actually didn't push the immediate sale and the remebered my right away when I came in a few weeks later.Overall a great experience. 100% recommended

ChessUSA's online store had an item in stock that the manufacturer discontinued. I ordered at a time when their website stated they were closed for a Holiday break. Immediately after ordering, I realized I put the incorrect shipping address that would not be able to be delivered to. I called their retail storefront to leave a message explaining the issue, and to my surprise, someone answered. The rep said that he was just taking care of a few things in store even though they were closed and I just happened to catch him. He was very friendly, updated the shipping address quickly, and we had a brief conversation. They shipped on time and the package even came early. With discontinued items, I'm always concerned about some online stores selling open-box or used items as "New" just to clear them out. I received a brand new, shrunk wrapped box from ChessUSA. Great price, great service, fast shipping, and friendly staff! What more could you ask for? Will definitely be doing future business here.

Wonderful customer service! I'd begun to think such a luxury was extinct, but Sam proved it's still around. When I ordered a board online I chose every option and did all I could to ensure it would arrive by Christmas, Sam called me personally to let me know it wouldn't make it because that board was hand made. That call in itself was such a wonderful courtesy, he then went above and beyond by offering me an alternative in store display model and made sure it would still get to me by Christmas! Amazing!!!! I highly recommend supporting this business! And thank you again for all of your help and advice Sam! Happy Holidays!

I received it with not only a chip on the frosted queen piece but also TWO missing pieces. I honestly don't even know how that kind of mistake could have happened, but I feel I am justifiably upset over the condition of the package received!

This was a mixed bag. Very cool that they are branching out and have a bunch of board and card games. The store was just a bit disorganized.
