This bank is Terrible, 2 hour wait for telephone banking. If you go to this branch they are rude take their time and make you wait on purpose. They do their best to annoy you. I closed my account and went to capital One.

This bank sucks. Their web banking and ATM technology is from the 1990s. Jovia has far better rates across the board on savings and CDs. Their online customer service is very rude. The taller blonde lady with glasses at the teller counter is a bit condescending as well. Glad we moved our accounts back to Jovia which operates like a bank should in 2023.

I recently found myself in a difficult situation I made many calls to TFCU and quite frankly I was given the run around until I went to the credit union location in Massapequa and fortunately I met Cheryl Jacobson and thank goodness I did she was helpful and empathetic and I feel went above and beyond and was not judge mental. She was a breath of fresh air for me. She introduced me to Ray and Anthony they too did try to help Anthony took the time to reach out to me by phone. The situation is unfortunate and I’m sure others find themselves in a similar way. While nothing resolved I do feel better having dealt with Cheryl Ray and Anthony .

Y'all are really charging a $10/month fee for "inactive" savings accounts under $100? Isn't the whole point of a savings account to just let the money sit there.Yeah, sure, I'm out $50 (or only $30, since you so graciously decided to refund 2 of the 5 inactivity fees). But, for real, what credit union charges inactivity fees?Closed my account. My current bank has a better interest rate on savings AND doesn't charge an inactivity fee.

I had a car loan with them & paid every single month for over 18 months. Nearing the end of my loan I was late on my payment & when I went in to pay I brought 200 cash. I explained to the lady at the counter that the atm was not working to withdraw the other 200 that I owed & that I would be back to pay it. The lady seemed very understanding and I didn’t think that it would be an issue. They reported it & my credit score that I’ve been working so hard for with no late payments dropped 100 pts, I was devastated. I’m a single Mother who works full time and sometimes things happen. I would not want to do business with a company that does not work with their clients that fall on hard times. I paid off the rest of my loan in full right after that to avoid further issues & was done with that place. Never again.

Teachers Federal credit Union is great for personal loans, auto loans and mortgage. Not other financial institution can be compared to this one.

Plan on a day here. Simple transactions wind up becoming complicated. I don't know about anyone else but my weekend is the only time to get things done and the last thing I need is to spend an hour in a bank to open an account. Nothing is simple, all is a problem.

The customer service in this place is so bad. 5 weeks in a row and every experience worse then the one before. Change your staff!!! They suck. BAD

Such a joke of a credit union. The way they operate is so outdated. Only benefit is they offer a low rate on my auto loan. They have repossessed my car because of a clerical error on their side, the coin counter machine is always out of order, bill pay takes 5 days or more because your bank has to mail them a check. Such a pain to use tfcu
