We visited for my sister's wedding weekend and it was absolutely perfect! The cabins are so cozy and the rooms are decorated nicely. One of our bathroom sinks was from a real granite rock that was carved into a sink!! We loved the electric fireplace in the bedrooms, too! The view was beautiful! There is so much to do around the area, and it was very convenient to have a Stewart's and Dollar General within a 2 mile radius. 100% recommend, and we plan to visit again!

My family reserved a room for a single night to stop off en route from Tupper Lake to Lake George. We arrived late at night and we’re surprised to find that it was a separate cabin up a hill from the office/restaurant accessed via a very poor condition and steep driveway. The website doesn’t really explain the set up well and we were expecting mire if a motel set up. The cottage was in seriously poor shape. We were prepared for less than luxurious at this price point, but I’m not exaggerating to say every item in the room was circa 1977. Threadbare and faded bed spreads, blankets covered in pills, an old sofa, lumpy beds and broken light fixtures. The bunk bed was very rickety and had no railing on top. The bathroom gross with staining and mildew all over. There were many bugs that probably flew in at some point (moths, flies, etc). . The owner was very nice so we felt a bit bad leaving but could not see anyone getting a wink of comfortable sleep. If this is the kind of accommodation you need for being close to skiing and don’t really care about the room, then this place is for you. If you are traveling with a family or are easily sleeved out then I don’t recommend. (We left in such a hurry we didn’t even take pics)

Everything we had was absolutely delicious. The seafood in the shrimp and scallop scampi was cooked perfectly, the crab cake was honestly the best I've ever had, and I'd take the Veggie Melt over a burger any day. Can't reccomend enough!

Nice big rooms and plenty of beds for a lot of people (we only had 2 of us so spread out everywhere). Could fit 6 people comfortably and more space on the couch or if you brought a blow up mattress. We had neighbors but barely heard them through the walls. Owners are friendly and make you feel welcome. Only disappointment was no tv.

We have been going to Inn on Gore for about 10 years and have never been disappointed. Even during Covid, the takeout has been amazing. We really enjoy the vegetarian options, especially the weekly vegetarian feast special. For meat eaters, you can't go wrong with Grandma's Gravy.

We love to order takeout meals here. It's gourmet, fresh and a good value. I am looking forward to checking them out in person when Covid is over, the dining room looks incredible!

They had good food, owner was excruciatingly rude. I have sat at the bar to eat there before no issues but he refused to take our order after i saw him take two other peoples orders, then he scoffed at our appearance (I have long hair and my gf had a tiedye on) as if we were to old for such nonsense (0nly 26) Then made us wait over 20 minutes to get a waitress or drinks for us. It was obvious he was hoping we would leave but at that point if staying made his night worse then ours I was staying. Once we finally got the food he angrily asked me how it was and I politely said it was very good. he then stormed off, Came back and did it again raising his voice. You could tell he was annoyed that I wasn’t faded by his outburst, Mind you we were polite the whole time. Then I waited for 20 more minutes for change which he then slammed on the bar top. I tipped my waitress and left. Foods good, but apparently don’t sit at the bar if your not over 35, clean cut and wearing a flannel.

Food was awesome. Service not so much. Need to get past the curmudgeonly proprietor.

We arrived a bit late but called to let the owner know. He was there when we arrived. It is rustic and needs some updates but clean and comfortable. Being close to the mountain was a plus. The restaurant is only open Friday and Saturday so we didn't get to try it

Great location for skiing at Gore Mountain. The rooms are nice and have all the essentials you can need for a ski weekend. The staff is great and can help you with any questions or needs. The restaurant on the property is open on the weekends and serves a great dinner. Also offers a few specials and has great food. Extremely convenient after a long day skiing with a fire place and great mountain atmosphere. This is the only place I would consider to stay if planning a trip to Gore mountain. Great price, clean room, and perfect location (3 minutes from the mountain) for a great ski trip.
