I have used Beaver Brook a couple of times for kayak rental deliveries to 13th lake. They are always so sweet on the phone, reliable, and reasonably priced!

I did the overnight rafting trip with friends and we all had THE BEST time. Nothing but smiles and laughs.
Guide Darren and Chef/Sherpa Leon were amazing! They camped the shit out of us! They brought all the gear, cooked us great meals and were fun to have around!

Our guide Erin was great. She kept everyone safe and made sure they had a good time. She even had some snacks for them on the easy stretch at the end of the trip. Can't say enough good things about this place.

We rafted this past Tuesday (7/16/24). What a great experience all the way! From the time we arrived till we drove away I give it 5 stars all the way! They provide helmets, life preservers and water shoes (if you want to wear them) at no extra cost! Our guide (Mike) was terrific!! We can't say enough about his expertise on the raft and on the river. The Hudson River is very clean so we also did some swimming along the ride. Everything was explained to us because only 1 out of the 5 of us had ever white water rafter previously. BBO provided lunch and water about mid way thru the trip as well. When we returned to the meeting area where we parked, we were greeted with homemade cookies and watermelon. If you are thinking of rafting near North Creek, this is your place! Thank you very much BBO for an awesome day on the river!!!

We did the river float trip. They require you to stay in your tube the whole time on the water and keep your oversized life vest on the whole time as well. Because of that, you barely get wet and most of us (out of 12) could not touch the water with our feet or hands due to the size of the floats.
I assume it is insurance reasons that they work it that way. Regardless, it wasn't much fun for anyone in our party and several others in other parties going with us. You also can't take a cooler with you.
I don't recommend a guided float trip.
I give it 3 stars because the staff was friendly.

Beaver Brooks Outfitters was a wonderful family time away. With helpful guides on the tubing trip. To the peaceful wall tents that we can disconnect from our devices and enjoy our time together. The staff was very helpful and informative. We will definitely be back again and highly recommend this place.

Easily the best rafting experience in NY. Patrick was such an amazing guide with so much knowledge and experience on the river. What a rush with relaxation mixed in for a perfect day! Beaver Brook Outfitters is the only way to go!

From the booking, to the way we were greeted at the site, to our guide, to the actual rafting itself - I could not have asked for a better experience. The staff who answered the phones and my booking questions and my one unexpected cancellation were friendly and helpful. The staff at the site that greeted my family was friendly and helpful. Our guide (Benny) was friendly, cool, and confident, and made us all feel at ease as this was our first time. The rafting - oh the rafting - wow. It was more than I ever expected. Incredibly exciting at times mixed with times of calm. I took my two teenage sons who DID NOT WANT TO GO, but afterwards, they were so happy and excited. I have no experience to compare this company to as this was my first time, but I literally could not imagine any experience being any better.

Great trip and great people. The staff and guides are all friendly, helpful and cheerful. They do their best to make sure you have a great experience. The “tent camping” is fun comfortable and beats a long drive to be there by 9:00 am. The cots and tents are clean and in very good condition. The bathrooms, showers and change rooms are all clean and well kept. The river maybe variable but the guides do their best to make sure you have a fun, enjoyable and rememberable trip.

The best rafting outfitter on the Hudson Gorge! As a Scoutmaster my main focus is always on the safety of any activity we undertake. The staff and professionalism shown by Beaver Brook Outfitters is unquestionable. Their attention to every detail makes our Troop's leadership so comfortable rafting with them.
Safety shmafety...., The real reason our Scouts LOVE Beaverbrook is the FUN. The guides are awesome and know exactly how to give each raft a great ride. They know where every rapid, waterfall, wave is and try to hit as many as possible to make our trip a rolling, rocking great time. From the lunch to how each guide is so personable makes it a great adventure.
We took a group of 16 Scouts ranging in age from 10 to 15 and all of them had a blast. They were great with scheduling, suggestions and allowing us great leeway in which Scouts went together in each raft. The leaders also had a great day on the river(they may have had more fun than the scouts).
