“On Friday, what started out as a day that was supposed to take my mom & I an hour or 2 turned into a 4 hour ordeal! On the way to help look for a dog that was loose in my area my tire pressure light went on. I was right next to Babylon Honda so I asked for help. 2 extremely nice men helped us put air in my tire and reluctantly, I went to their service dept down the road. I told them I have a nail in my tire, let them know I was a customer of over 12 years & currently out of work. They assured me it wouldn’t take long to patch the tire. WELL, it took them an hour & 1/2 just to come out & tell me they couldn’t patch my tire and tried to tell me I needed 4 new tires right now & with an alignment it would be $1200. I asked if there was a discount since I’m a customer so long. $1200 was the best they could do. I was so annoyed of the fact that they had taken my car in right away and it took them so long to come out and tell me they couldn’t patch the tire and that they couldn’t do better on the price that I took my keys and left and went over to Mavis Discount Tire. The whole staff, especially Kastle, was fantastic! Within 15 minutes they came out & told me they couldn’t patch the 1 tire because of where the nail was. AND they didn’t try to push me to get 3 other new tires, instead they told me I will need 3 other new tires soon. When I asked Kastle to be honest with me on how much longer I can wait, he told me not to wait too long & showed me the threads. With that said, my mom, knowing a trick from my grandpa, put a penny in the threads & said I really should get them now. They were $600 less than Babylon Honda for all 4 tires (the top ones at Mavis) & alignment! Thank you Mavis for taking me right away & for your honesty.”

“This place is great. They are always accommodating and any time I have an issue with my car they are always able to help!! Yesterday I was panicked because one of my tires wouldn’t hold air and I had to drive far for work in the morning. Scott checked all my wheel sensors, added air to the flat tire and determined I had a slow leak. He then plugged it for me and I was on my way! Very appreciative of the incredible service. They are definitely my go to shop!”
