“Talia and Jeanine at Maximum K9 were so helpful with selecting some items I needed for my dog, Rugar. I came in looking for a crate and they helped me to choose the perfect one. Talia called over to the warehouse to see if it was in stock and after some discussion, we decided it best that I order online for pickup at the store. I also got a slip lead (Jeanine showed me how to use it) and a tug toy and bone that Talia said her dog loves! Their expertise and assistance made the process easy and enjoyable. “I had never even heard of Central Park Puppies when I began searching for my Cavapoo. The site came up when I did a Google search. I never knew anyone who used them, had no referrals, and no background. All I know is that from the second I contacted Central Park Puppies, I was provided feedback, pictures, videos, etc. I dealt with Ash and she was a pleasure- her responses were quick, she had all the details I wanted, and even reached out to the breeder for additional videos of our pup. I would HIGHLY recommend Central Park Puppies! My husband and I kind of jumped into our purchase, but every step of the way was simple, straightforward, and pleasurable. It has been a little over a month that we have had our pup and I still keep in touch with Ash. She loves getting updates for all the pups she places in homes, which shows how much she cares about these puppies. “I tried the "Self Serve Dog Wash." It worked out really well. I bought 5 baths for $40 so I could do all of my dogs for $8 each. I took the two bravest pups as a test run. The dogs were secured in the tub with a tether. Four several types of shampoos, a waterproof apron, and towels are provided. Use the powerful dryer right in the tub. Don't forget the brush like I did. The floor gets slippery, so be careful. Update: The wash area was renovated. New nozzles for the hose and dryer were present. Clips to tie your dog on the floor were added, so you can safely clean out the tub, which some people don't do. I think employees should check the area, especially on busy days, because sometimes I have to clean out the hair left behind by other dog owners.”
“I went in to the Massapequa location yesterday completely lost because my 6 month old lab has been having such loose smelly diarrhea for almost a month. After back and forth with our vet, testing for any and all parasites we both decided it had to be the food (kibble) that he was eating.
Lina (and all of the staff) was INCREDIBLY knowledgeable. She helped us so so sooooo much with getting started, figuring out the correct amount of food needed per serving, and also letting us know about extra things that a growing puppy needs.
We finally, after a month, had the best solid poop this morning and he absolutely lovessss his food!”

“The whole staff is very knowledgeable. I went in for canine aspirin since my 14 year old havanese pulled a muscle in her back leg and was limping. The vet recommended the canine aspirin and the manager of this store actually uses the product I got for his 14 year old dog that has joint and hip issues and it works amazingly for their dog. Only on day 2 so not much improvement yet, but he was great and answered all of my questions and made me feel more secure in the purchase of the pain relief medicine. Keep up the great work guys!”

They also carry brand names so there are a lot of choices. Crazy how we got a whole Butterball Turkey for $13 total! I liked Lidl better than Aldi and we'll be back :)”

“I never thought I’d feel so full ❤️ for months I was doing the wrong thing & taking advice from Petsmart which led to his tank being at 70 degrees and him being depressed with low energy n I just didn’t know why. I took him to creepy creatures in farmingdale and they got his food and lighting right and I finally got my CyCy back??? he’s running around like never before I feel like he’s a baby again!! I’m so happy I brought him here and just glad nothing is wrong and that it’s not too late. I love this animal with every fiber of my being. Thank you creepy creatures ❤️?”

“This is the best store in NY state if not the US. I have gone to many stores and Tropical Island aquarium has it all. From rare and exotic fish to the highest end coral. For beginners it is where you must go to start off in the hobby. The reason why I say it’s the best because they have the most competitive prices for the nicest coral and exotic fish beats the highly marketed online sellers and the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly.”

“Purchased two pups from this store. One in 2021 and the other in 2023. They are truly the best pet shop on Long Island. I visited a few pet shops in the area from Huntington and neighboring areas before selecting this one to purchase our pups. This was the only one that did not smell like pee! The location is extremely clean and the puppies are well cared for. That made me feel safe. Our first Yorkie was sick once we brought her home because she wouldn’t eat the day we took her home but luckily they provided her with healthcare from West Hills Animal Hospital next door. They covered the whole bill and she got better!The maltipoo has never had any health issues, but my only issue was that she turned out WAY bigger than expected. We love her but I wanted her to be a similar size to the yorkie as promised. So that left a sour taste in my mouth after paying so much for two dogs. The maltipoo is almost 10lbs and she was supposed to be around 6lbs-7lbs at most.”

“The ladies at the Grooming saloon, very understanding and caring towards my cocker spaniel. They were very patient. they took into consideration to cut his fur first, and then wash him then groom him so that he wouldn’t be so anxious. I know this all sounds just what they should do but they were very understanding. also look like they did not rush just to get them out.”

“We have been taking our dogs here for grooming for over a year now. One of our dogs in particular (Eleanor) is somewhat "different" if you will, in terms of her grooming needs. Shes a Pointer/Poodle mix so she sheds but also grows hair in the craziest of ways.
Not only do they totally know her and our needs and wants each time, but we have somewhat a consult before every grooming to just ensure the look we are going for.
Every groomer we have had, has delivered fantastic results, and our dogs have always been happy afterwards. I know they are in great hands. Thank you to Sam (our latest groomer) and all the previous ones who have taken great care of our pups to keep them looking (and smelling) amazing!
Oh - and Shout out to the whole staff and groomers up front who never fail to make the pups (and us owners) feel welcome and loved.”

“I adopted Molly from Long Island Feline Adoption Center in January 2023 and Im glad i did and its been nothing but joy and love ever since. Molly is my first cat and I definitely was a bit nervous as I only had dogs previously and I knew the breeds were definitely different. As soon as I arrived at Feline Adoption Center Cheryll took her time to get to know me and my living situation and what I was looking for and matched me with Molly. I came in on a Monday and visited every day that week and went home with Molly that Saturday. Molly is such a sweet, beautiful and well behaved cat. Im so lucky to have her and Im so thankful to Cheryll for matching us Molly is what was missing from my life. Molly is so comfortable in her new home and its only been 5 months and I know that love and joy is only going to continue to grow as I hope she lives a long & happy life. Thank you so much to Cheryll and Long Island Feline Adoption Center!!! You are the BEST!!”
“It's a really nice location. They have many products that are great for your pets. There's a bunch of services like grooming, vetco, and adoption, which they partner with Last Chamce Animal Rescue. The only reason giving it 4 stars is that the parking lot is in need of some tlc. Also, there is a hornet nest in the ground by the curb parking spot towards the veteran store. They were very aggressive when we brought our puppies in. Otherwise, it's a great place to be.”

“We love this place, the bully sticks and dehydrated raw treats are in open bins so my puppy can help pick one out. Each time we're there we're the only dog inside so it's not overwhelming for the puppy. Our was $10 cheaper than Amazon - love to patronize a local shop! :) It's also right next to Blue Line Deli for human breakfast.”
