Mike is extremely helpful and always cordial. He goes above and beyond all the time for the residents of the town. The USPS is lucky to have him.

Very efficiently run little post office and those whom run it are very delightful and personable. They are always very friendly and helpful. I always keep the post office as my last stop of the day if I can help it as I know it won’t be a negative experience.

Mike was very rude. I called up because apparently my package was dispatched there due to my own mistake, so I called and asked if I could pick it up. Mike responded after 6 rings and told me in a very condescending way that I had entered the address wrong. Ignoring the fact Niverville is a hamlet within Valatie and that the addresses should've been the same, someone got confused and sent it there. His tone was extremely condescending. He told me I had a half an hour to get there or he'd leave. I don't know what would've happened if I hadn't just so happened to call at that time. So I had to get my dad up to drive me there, and when I went inside, after waiting patiently for his phone call to end, he came to the door [with no mask on], and I asked if he had my Amazon package. He brought it out and recited my address, and I told him it was me. He asked for an ID and I told him I didn't have one. He told me "Well how do I know it's you?", as if I didn't just get off the phone with him 15 minutes ago saying "I'll be there to pick up an Amazon package with this address". I told him I wasn't old enough to have an ID, and he told me "Well you shouldn't even have this then, should you?". The "thing I shouldn't have" was a green screen. I told him it's a green screen and he gave me fifty more questions like "How did you pay for it?", and I told him it was my friend who bought it, and after a few more annoying and personal questions he handed me the package. He got his hands all over it and was breathing on it too. The package had tears in the bubble wrap envelope around it, not sure if it was the other boxes in the truck piercing it, or if it was Mike peeking at the package. Can't be sure. Very dissatisfied with the service provided though.
