Please explain why there is no one in pharmacy available to answer calls. The automated answering system doesn't work properly. This really is awful

I drove from Albany to this CVS as local CVS told that they have in stock what I needed. On reaching there I learnt that the product in stock had expired. (They tried to call me while I was on the way, I called back and you know how painful is CVS call system). I usually get angry in these situations. But I dint. When I reached home I wondered what happened this time. I realized that I could see that they actually cared and they meant it when they apologized. Amazing staff.

I would absolutely not recommend this place for pharmacies needs. Over 2 weeks ago they were supposed to put a request in for my medication. I called them today because I needed it and they had never even placed the over because “it’s too weird of a brand”. Which is absolutely fine but if two weeks ago they had said they wouldn’t order I could have figured it out. So if you have a busy life with a lot of things going on and can’t hold your pharmacist hand every step of the way, I’d avoid. Shout out to the rude pharmacist who answered my call.

I think every time I visit this pharmacy a piece of my soul is stolen from me. Wanna pick up your prescription? Get ready to wait. Wait on line. Get told that your prescription is on hold. Wait for consultation. Wait for them to fill it. Wait on line again. This almost feels like some sort of government study to test out advanced psychological torture methods. If you want to break a man you don’t need to waterboard, you don’t need to force feed, you just need to take him to 1330 Balltown road. This pharmacy is where dreams go to die.

I visited CVS pharmacy on Saturday, February 10 2024. Pharmacy manager, very nice young lady, was very helpful with my wife prescription pickup, she applied "pharmacy discount" and explained to my wife everything my wife was asking about prescription and insurance coverage.

Pharmacy is understaffed (assuming management's fault, either local or corporate), but the people working there were making the best of it and being very helpful. RPh Laplant is knowledgeable, willing to answer questions, and was very efficient giving vaccines.

Today I needed a prescription and pushed the “please fill ASAP” button and it was ready 10min later. I’ve never had issues with getting prescriptions filled here.
