“Picked up a heat and serve lasagna because I didn't have the energy to cook after visiting family in the hospital.Talked with another customer about the merits of cooking with both Sweet and Hot Italian sausage, so that everyone's happy.The cashier was efficient and friendly, we chatted about their girlfriend in cosmetology school- I'm always glad to hear about youth getting into the trades.Overall a good stop at one of my favorite local stores for good, comfort food.”

“They eere closed and almost out of meat, but the butcher let me in when I told him I had traveled from out of town to avoid predicted bad weather. He went through the little bit they had left and found a piece of meat that would feed my family. Compassion and great service, coupled with first rate meat, keeps me coming back here.”

“For several years we have chosen to have Thanksgiving Dinner catered for three of us. We are not big eaters and enjoy having some leftovers for the next day. The three previous years we were happy with the dinner offered by Fresh Market. This year my wife saw an ad for Primal butchers and decided to try them.The biggest difference between Fresh Market and Primal was the inclusion of thigh meat in the Primal package. Fresh Market only provided you with a fully cooked breast. As can be seen in my photo, Primal provided both sliced breast and thigh meat in their $45 meal for two people. This being our first year trying Primal we ordered two meals for two to feed the three of us just to be on the safe side.Following their instructions for reheating, we all agreed that the turkey was moist and flavorful. The mashed potatoes were just average, but with the gravy added they were flavorful and enjoyable. Carrots and green beans had a proper firmness and were tasty. The squash had good flavor and the sausage dressing was tasty, but the sausage flavor was not noticeable. My wife preferred the cranberry sauce from Fresh Market with its added orange flavor, but Primal's sauce with whole cranberries was still tasty and enjoyable, even if it did likely come from a can.Bottom line, we probably could have gotten along just fine with only one order for two people, but since we enjoyed everything as much as we did, we are likely to order from them again. Maybe we should look to see what they offer for Christmas dinner.”
