“With the current price of groceries this place has become a go-to for me. Great produce prices and typically all the items are in stock. Sometimes gets a little crowded with folks on assistance.”
“Visit any other supermarket and it's obvious why Wegmans is King of the food stores However, Pellicano's on the Boulevard in Wheatfield is great for meats. My 2 go to supermarkets.”
“Sign up for their emails folks! I scored fresh chicken legs for 0.77 cents a pound thanks to their emails!! The store is always neat and tidy with friendly staff too.”
“I used to live at Mark's Food Market in a studio that was attached to it before David built the new store .David and Maggie we're always good to me and it was nice having the store so close it was convenient after they built the new store the sandwich shop in there was awesome.. It's not very often you get to have an EX-NFL player making one of the best turkey club sandwiches for you.... I hope the new owners are prospering”
“Man oh man, the food is AMAZING, We had the steak and cheese sub (small) and it was enough for two of us to eat.The owners, workers and customers are very friendly and welcoming, we are from Canada and walked across the bridge and decided try this place as we driven by it in the past. I would 10 out of 10 recommend. The wife gives it an 8 out of 10 only cause she's not a huge fan of mayo”
“This is my go to store, unfortunately WIC seems to be my biggest issue here. Items not approved in their systems but are approved in the WIC app. The head manager is always willing to put the items in the system, unfortunately the other manager had said "I'm not the machine so I don't know what to tell you" when I tried to my usual WIC approved bread today. I usually don't get items I know are approved because rarely those items are approved in the system to avoid any inconvenience but today I tried to get the usual bread that I KNOW was always approved in the system. I understand wic is new to this company, I'd just wish it wasn't left on the head manager to put items in the system and more were trained to do it to avoid lines growing and others being affected with wait times as well as the staff being frustrated that things are not in their systems. The cashier was so nice though, always is. Never got an attitude. The other manager on the other hand always seems to have an issue whenever I come in for wic. I do understand the frustration, because i , who is getting wic is also frustrated but I'm not the person nor is she that deserves frustrations to be taken out on others. It's the system itself that needs to be fixed. Frozen fruits vegetables should be in the system, ALL FRESH VEGTABLES AND FRUITS should be in the system NOT just save a lot brand. Cheerios, honey bunches of oats, wonder wheat bread, ALL canned fruits in veggies that are not in syrup need to be approved in the system. I'm not the only person who receives wic. I also work for a living and cannot go to other stores due to not having the time to get there without being late to work. To the manager who felt the need to inform me she wasn't the machine, I'm sorry your job is stressful, I get you have a lot on your plate. If you come to wendys on porter I'd like to buy your meal for you. I was once a manager and dealt with OTC and SNAP items not being approved when upc numbers changed on items that were always accepted on both cards prior to the upc change. When there is nothing you can do personally try reaching out to the higher ups instead of having the "I'm not the machine" mentality. It won't fix the issues until the heads are aware it's an issue. Hope you have a better day. I know you don't like me because of how I purchase my milk, eggs, and cheese, I also heard you state I must not have a job but as I stated above I do and I'm willing to buy you a meal on my dime to take some stress off of whatever is going on that you think it's okay to project your frustrations on me and others who use wic.”
“Best neighborhood store. Owned by the same family since I was a kid. Andy treats his loyal customers as family as well. Very respectful, store very clean, very seldom he doesn't have what you need! He deserves more than 5 stars!”

“The owner is very nice and friendly and helpful I wouldn’t know what I would’ve done if I hadn’t gone in here to cash my check he really helped me and I appreciate it I definitely recommend 10/10”
“Very friendly staff. Well lit, has vac stations in back. They are small but very well stocked with a large assortment of items. I find they are open when other gas stations close to Falls are closed.”
“The stars are for Justine the cashier! She's very friendly. The store itself is kinda dirty & could use a makeover, but Justine the cashier is Alright with me! Yaaaay Justine! Keep on doing a good job! Thank you Justine?????❤️❤️❤️❤️”
“They had the best gas price in the area, at the time I made my purchase. The gentleman behind the counter was polite and helpful. They let me fill the tank without paying first. I also struck up a conversation with someone else pumping gas. I felt very comfortable here. I will probably return. Thank you!”
“I come into this store almost everyday , store is always clean , staff is always nice. I’ve never had an issue with anything or anyone being rude like the Karens that are commenting”
“Friendly staff here. Someone always says 'hello' when I enter. Which I really like. Clean, too, for DG standards. Rarely is out of bags, which is really important to me.”
“The manager is amazing! Always going above and beyond for the customer and the store! I would miss her if she ever left this store! She is so amazing, she should be considered for a Regional Manager position!!The only issues I have are that some of the newer cashier's don't wear name tags or store uniforms! I can't tell if they work there, until they get to the register! Some of the employees don't wear masks, even though the manager requires them too, for everyone's safety! My only other concern is that some.of the staff can not count out change very well! I paid my bill for $3.74 with a $10 bill, and my change was $6.26....the gentleman must have put the bill I paid with in register wrong, because he was stumped when it came to the correct change to return to me. I had to tell him how much was due back to me, and I didn't use a calculator, because it's such simple math!!! You should add a quick math portion to your Application process, and another math type test during the interview process, to make sure they can do simple math, without a calculator, and in front of the manager! It boggles my mind that young adults can't seem to do simple math anymore! That can be dangerous for a buissness, especially with such a high volume of customers and cash transactions!”
“I always stop in here around Christmas
To see what they have. I remember last year they had a very stocked store and I found a lot of good stuff. I went in Tuesday morning and it was decent. The staff is always friendly.”
“It’s a Walmart. I was told that each Walmart in the USA has these weird thing that makes them unique. I walked in wondering if this was one of the Walmarts I could get a gun or buy a boat it but I guess I gotta go to Texas for the real experience it was just like any supercentre in Canada except there was a small bank inside. I did see a Twinkie on my way out they pretty much stopped selling them in Canada but its definitely not something I wanted to try again just thought it was interesting but Americans seem to love to eat treats with little to no nutritional value made from industrial seed oils and lots of sugar”
“Honestly, I try to avoid Walmart whenever possible. It can be very overwhelming for me and it feels chaotic. However, when searching for certain things that can only be found at Walmart (or ordered online) I've been pleasantly surprised with my experience. I'm able to navigate the store with ease. The shelves are well stocked and there appears to be enough staff. I have to admit the the prices are great and I have found some top quality items. For the most part I'm glad that I went and will likely go again.”
“Ryan is a great person. And also I asked the young Man who has been working for Tops Markets, and he told me exactly where to go and he deserves a raise. He has Nice dreads, he has been working for Tops for a long time. He is always kind to me and my son. I just forgot his name. This Man amongst many others, like Latonya Woods, who's been working for Tops for a very long time. I feel that We should celebrate the people who are going strong even throughout the Pandemic and she weathered the storm. Not many people can do that.”
“Enjoy shopping at this Tops. Their staff is extremely helpful! When this Tops doesn't have what I'm looking for, it's there the next time I shop. Except for one (1) item and that is Cabot Plain Yogurt. The store is very clean and well-kept. No fallen articles in the aisles and shelves are well-stocked and in order.”
“Me and my bf went to tops for some food and when we went to check out we met Margo. She's is the sweetest person ever. I hope she gets employee of the month. Zaza”
“My all time favorite grocery store! Great deli items and meat dept., along with wide variety of italian specially items and freezer foods! Now also running sandwich/sub lunch specials too.”
