I had a problem with the coolant system in my 2012 Silverado. Air pockets in the line was preventing it from pumping correctly and causing the truck to constantly overheat. Sounds simple enough, after months of aggravation, and 3 different repair shops telling me they had fixed the problem, to no avail. I started to look at buying a new truck, even though mines in great shape and paid for. Anyways I decided to try one more shop, Good guys. I wish I would have went there first, because it would have saved me a lot of aggravation and money. Trucks running great, finally.

I have nothing but praise for this automotive shop! He helped out my 20 year old son that had traveled 12 hours just to see the Niagra Falls. Unfortunately, on the trip he started having alternator problems. This shop was so accommodating and took my son in the very morning he called and switched out his alternator in a 2006 Honda Accord and did it while he waited and had it done in about 30 minutes! Couldn’t ask for any better service! So nice to know there are people out there in this world that will go out of there way to help someone in a bind! Thank you so much Good Guys - keep up the good work and the name of your shop is so fitting!!! Would highly recommend to anyone needing mechanic help and are not sure where to go!

They used to be rude to my grandmother all of the time but I figured I would give them a call and try them out. This was the literal first mechanic I called cause my mechanic doesn’t have the equipment for an ac recharge and I’m trying to get my sisters ac fixed for her and I was asking about how much that costs so I could tell my sister and see if she wanted it done or not and he assumed I was “calling all around looking for the cheapest price and he’s not interested” and hung up on me. Don’t know how you would ever get business being rude to everyone like that for no reason whatsoever ever. He assumed I was looking around because I mentioned something about what the dealership had said to my sister (which my sister doesn’t trust them because they sold her a car with a broken ac and then charged her to fix it and didn’t fix it) and I mentioned that the compressor is being fixed. So because he wasn’t getting all the business himself for everything he immediately assumed I was “calling around for the cheapest price” having no information on anything.
UPDATE: The owner’s response is completely unhinged and everyone else that has left bad reviews were correct. This response is over a 56 second phone call to which he hung up on me while I was speaking btw. And I never rose my voice or was rude once. He did though. He is in fact the one lying. Literally everything he said is wrong in his response. Completely delusional. He was the one talking over me the whole time hence why he still doesn’t know what’s actually going on even though I even wrote the details in my review here. He kept on telling me “he couldn’t recharge the ac because if it needs recharging then it has a leak and that needs to be fixed” to which I replied “I know, it’s getting fixed hopefully but my mechanic doesn’t have the equipment to do new ac recharging” but he talked over me telling me I was shopping around and told me to go to the dealer and hung up on me after talking over me any time I tried to speak. I also didn’t tell him Freon wasn’t Freon lol. I said “do you have the equipment to recharge ac in a newer car? Not the old Freon one but the new one” and he talked over me saying that it was Freon and I said “idk it’s not my car that’s what the dealership told my sister” and he kept short circuiting and yelling over me repeating himself about the Freon after he said “I don’t care what other people say cause they just talk” which I was nice as pie the whole time and laughed off and said “yeah I totally get it. I’m not sure what they meant.” Anywho. I’m sure y'all can see he’s unhinged by his responses. He thinks he’s helping his business by responding to his reviews that way but it literally is way worse than if he didn’t respond at all cause he is showing everyone how crazy and unprofessional he is. He responded to one lady on here basically calling her a crackhead and repeatedly telling her to hit a joint. All because she left a review about him changing the tow price up to $240 (which btw is a very expensive tow unless it was a really far tow or off the highway tow). The next place I called that actually had the equipment and had no problem talking to me and I was able to tell my sister a price but turns out there is some sort of recall on it so she is going to talk to Honda first before moving on. Avoid this place and this guy like the plague. He must be loosing his mind in his old age. If you’re looking for a good mechanic that is actually honest there are some in the city. And not too far from this guys shop.

Been there for the last two years, last year it was the transmission, this year it was a bunch of things , sterling, brakes, shocks, roters, all good car rides like it was new, thanks guys for your goodness on what you all do, plus the little extras.

We’re traveling and suddenly hear a grinding noise from our front left tire. Needless to say, I was a bit panicked and nervous about taking my truck into a strange repair shop. So after checking out reviews, we picked Good Guys and I’m so glad we did! We only had today, and Mark was so accommodating, got our truck in, and fixed while we were sightseeing Niagara Falls. We are so thankful to Good Guys, they charged us exactly what we would have paid at home and we can safely drive home. This busy shop worked us in, and I can highly recommend!!!!

Long story short don't bring your car, truck to this establishment, had to take him to court, the owner is a joke with alot of money and good lawyers.At the end of the day the work was just not good and another shop had to repair my vehicle.

My husband, Philip Miller and I took our 2012 Toyota Tacoma pick up truck to Goodguys Automotive this April, 2024. It had multiple issues, mostly involving rust to significant parts of the truck. The Toyota dealer garage told us we should junk the truck. We took the Tacoma to Goodguys for A second opinion. They did all needed repairs promptly and with Quality workmanship. The cost of repairs was extremely reasonable and the mechanics were informative and professional. We are delighted with our experience.

Mark was great. Anyone else would try to get a mint for an entire light change for my 2013 Highlander. Mark changed the fuse. Hats off to an honest mechanic . One of my new shops for any issues.

Don’t go if you’re a woman. The guy was literally acting like he can’t spell and trying to seem stupid before he randomly upped the price of a tow to 240.
Edit: the owner has responded to this comment calling me a liar, rambling about deisel?? He has never seen my car once. I called to cancel because of an 240 fee that made no sense. Never have I gotten such a hostile reaction on a simple warning of my experience. SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME AND DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY

I cannot say enough good things about this shop! I had purchased a Florida truck with very low mileage but the frame was so bad that several body shops wouldn’t even look at it. I had gone to Good Guys in the past and was happy with their work so I took a gamble and contacted them. Upon seeing my crestfallen expression, a welding specialist was notified and for an extremely fair price and excellent workmanship, my truck was more than satisfactorily repaired! It have so much faith in their ability and professionalism, I will be a repeat customer. One of the best parts was that I was always notified of the status and updates. That very seldom happens! Thank you Good Guys and see you soon!
