we have been taking my dog here for years. He was recently diagnosed with cancer and the vet said we couldn't do much, and we agreed to just wait until he was experiencing pain and discomfort or not eating to put him down. We woke up on a Saturday and he was completely not using his leg (where the mass is) and they did not accommodate us for a euthanasia on a Saturday. So we drove our poor old man 40 mins to an emergency vet. That is not compassion in my opinion. Shame on yall!

Dr Downey and his team are just amazing. Very kind and empathetic. Took great care of all our dogs in the past. We are thinking of getting another dog and he will definitely be our vet!

I can't say enough about this Clinic and Dr. Downing!
He treats your fur baby as if it were his own. The price of treatments are so much more resonable than other clinics
on Niagara Falls Blvd. The Staff make us feel very welcomed. Our Himalayan kittens are in good hands, and love being welcomed by the Ladies in the office.

I cannot recommend Companion Care highly enough. I have been taking my dogs there for almost 9 years. Dr. Downey and his staff are amazing! His expertise and genuine care for my Obi-Wan and Vader shine through in every interaction. Dr. Downey always takes the time to thoroughly explain everything, patiently answering all my questions and addressing any concerns I have. The entire staff goes above and beyond to care for my boys.

Dr. Downy is very thorough, pleasant, & a congenial polite staff. I've been seeing him for many years. My male dog was his oldest patient he lived to be 2 months short of 19 years. My 4 yr.old fur baby has adjusted well to the attention she gets there.

Dr. Downey and his entire staff are the best! They have been very kind and caring every time I have needed them to take care of problems with my little dog Daisy. I feel that Dr. Downey treats Daisy as if she was his own dog, and I sincerely appreciate this kind of attention to my well loved pet. DENIED SERVICE FOR THE VERY THING THEY ARE IN BUSINESS FOR!! I've been going to this vet for 15 years! They denied my dog service because his rabies was a month behind (no call or letter as a reminder) while he had an ear infection which got progressively worse after they denied him. I wasn't able to just take him to a new vet because he's a rescue and aggressive due to being abused in the past. After I went to a clinic I reached out to make an appt for his ear and the receptionist must have been having a bad day because she had attitude the entire time and when I called her on it she told me she would get me kicked from the practice before hanging up on me. I managed to get the appointment and when I seen the vet I expressed to her what happened and was told they would take care of it. A few weeks later I received a letter stating I was kicked from the practice for my "agreessive behavior" so be sure to pucker up when the staff is having a bad day or face getting kicked from the practice not to mention the heavy set vet doesn't even get up from the chair and has the technician do most of her job! The place has went WAY DOWN HILL!!
RESPONSE TO YOUR LIE OF A REPLY:
My dog is not extremely aggressive as he's never barked or growled at anybody and sits still while muzzled. A reminder was never sent on any way! You're lying when you said I was verbally abusive to your receptionist when she in fact was extremely rude to me and when I asked her why she had an attitude with me it I was told it was because I was questioning why your practice would deny my dog being given his rabies shot or see him for the infection that due to your practice got worse because you denied him service the very thing you are in business to do. Interesting that he's 7 and you chose now and after 15 years of my dogs going there to kick me from the practice you're all extremely unprofessional and I'm glad we are no longer apart of a "team" that lies to make them selves look better. The vets can't even be bothered to get out of their chair to look at the dog but OKAY ?
