Had new windows put in and still waiting since April for him to come fix a window I showed him that wasn’t closing right. I think 7 months is just ridiculous !!!!!

We are very happy with the outcome of our project with Kirk Starkweather Construction. We had all three dormers added to the second floor. From the estimate to completion, he was here when he said he would be. The crew was professional and polite. The job was delivered as promised. We would absolutely use him again!!

Couldn't have asked for more! We got a prompt estimate and once the job started rolling, it happened! The crew was here on time, polite and the job was done exactly as promised. We are so happy and would have him back again. Highly recommend!

A year or so ago they repaired a roof and installed 3 roof vents. They were promptd with thier service and completed the job under rather severe heat and hunidity weather condiitons. We decided to use them again for extensive siding ,doors windows lectrical work and other upgrades. Appointment schdeule, was called day of appointment asked if he could come early so his drive time at the end of the day would not be as much. I agreed. however after baout 45 minutes of sdiscussion he satrte indicating he had another appoitnemnt and needed to leave. He then said he would get back to us by the next week with an estimate. 3 weeks later ino call back, called and asked about completeing the some of the details of the job estimate.. begrdgungly hge agreed to another vist, again contact wishing to come early. aagin tryingot discuss some work. he states You need to talk to tha contractor. I indicated I thought par tof hiring him was for him to coordinate the contractrs and thnigs. He explained that he was a building contracture not a general contractor. Well I gues theBBB has it wrong, they have him listed as a general contractor. he also ppinted out some issues about how stairs were repaired an spent 20 munutes about what problems could occurring . howevr rather then offering how to correct he said I could proabbaly do this, hding the issue not correcting. Agian he rushes off saying he would have the new estimate. Again I waited 3 weeksor longer well while waiitng i go into the attic and see one vent the was nto nstalled properly , i send an email wonderring about why no estimet and also about the vent issue. I hear more excuse placing the blame on others. he also says we shoudl call him! I am sorry but I just contacted him about a problem, shouldn't he have been on the phone calling me? Yes heMAY have several good reviews. and yes he may be one of the best in the business but He has not shown evidence of it regarding saying he will complete a call and then doesn't, then treating someone as thoughthey are abitehr for trying get information promised. Also his lack of detail to the clients thoughts seems to need improvemnt.

So greatful to have found Kirk! His knowledge of construction is made apparent from the moment he walks in. Dependable and quality work from start to finish. His honesty and professionalism is unmatched and I am so thankful he was able to fit us in to his busy schedule! Thank you for solving our puzzle piece stairway Kirk!!

Kirk is the kind of contractor you dream of. He built an in-law apartment for me and also some porches. Honest and dependable. Took the time to find out what we really wanted and needed. Super friendly and never talked down to me or tried to up-sell me. Great team of guys that were respectful and cared about their work because Kirk took an active role in honing their craftsmanship. Showed up when they said they would and worked fast. It's been almost a year and I'm still VERY happy with everything they did for me. I highly recommend!

Disregard Jake Costley review. Kirk Starkweather is a great man to work for and his business is a family atmosphere. I myself am a young man with a family and didn't know much about construction and he gave me a chance and took me under his wing to teach me. He pays very well and treats employees very well. He has been nothing but caring and fair. He had also done all he could and went above and beyond to help Jake the best he could but Jake is the type of person to constantly screw people over and start problems unfortunately. His wages were not held. when Jake quit his check was mailed out. Some people are just immature and ungrateful no matter how much you do for them. Kirk Starkweather construction is a great business to consider we have a great crew that works hard and does outstanding work and a great leader to make sure the job is done to your satisfaction. Outstanding work, good atmosphere, Trustworthy, and dependable.
