Another screw up. This pharmacy is so unorganized. There notification system sucks. If you have a prescription the automated system will tell you it is ready. Go to pick it up and they tell you you can pick it up in 2 days! They use insurance as the reason, but can't explain why you are notified that it is ready. Often they use the excuse of an insurance issue, when in reality they are waiting for medicine to be delivered. Of course calling the insurance co gives a totally different story. Talking to the manager is hopeless. He can't help at all.

This Pharmacy is a joke . My doctor called in a specialty prescription . The pharmacy told me they can get it and would be in on Friday . Today is Monday and now they are telling me they needed the doctor to do something else .. they never kept me updated and I will be running out of my prescription in 4 days . If they were having issues they should have notified me and I could have gone elsewhere or called my doctor's office . This Pharmacy dropped the ball in communicating with me and keeping me updated. I would be weary of using them as I can see they don't care about their customers!

Quality stuff but the service sucks. I was in line for 20 minutes waiting to pick up a photo and not once did the lady ask if i needed help, i asked her if my pictures were done and she ignored me. She didn't ask me nor pay attention to me until the manager came over. They really need to evaluate their workers. ridiculous!

If you have a disability listen up!! If you have any back and/or bending over issues listen up!! If you tend to use a shopping cart to lean on while in stores shopping listen up!! If you have trouble lifting listen up!! Today I went in to Walgreens on North Plank Rd in the Town of Newburgh and they do not have shopping carts for customers. I asked someone and they mentioned they only have "one" shopping cart & it was in use. They claimed that people have stolen all their carts. They have ordered new ones and they're still waiting on them. What it offered is a hand basket type item. It has wheels and a long handle and you roll it on the ground. I had to literally bend over to place items into the basket & then pick up the basket at the register. This rolling basket situation is definitely not suitable for many disabled customers. It's pretty disappointing. ***Use caution if using them as it is also a tripping hazard.

Went to get my second Covid-19 booster and didn’t have to wait long. The store was clean and the pharmacy staff were all pleasant!

I had an appointment today (10/04) at 10:45 am for a flu shot. I ended up waiting 45 minutes before they took me in to give me my vaccine. I was the only one sitting waiting for any kind of vaccine. There were two pharmacy technicians snd two pharmacists. There was no excuse for me to have waited that long. Inexcusable. Why give out appointments if Walgreens is not honoring them.

We use Walgreen’s for all of our “quick runs” and photo needs. We recently changed it to our pharmacy. I’ve had nothing but great experiences with all the staff members here, until today. I ran in at the beginning of a rain storm and the store had just lost power. Bad timing, but no one’s fault. I went back to the pharmacy to pick up medications for my infant (with no exaggeration, my pediatrician said he may develop pneumonia from a virus he’s been fighting, so I was extra e

I made a flu shot appointment for 10:00am and 10:15am. Unfortunately, I was told I had to wait and that appointments are hard to go by since it depends on if the pharmacist on duty is available. I decided to wait. All my insurance information was taken down, I made out the forms, got my temperature taken. All waiting to see the pharmacist. My issue came up when I 'overheard' the pharmacist say throughout the room to her technicians and looking over at us waiting "I'm not taking that one because she is coughing." The technician asked me to the window and told me again, "because of your coughing" the pharmacist will not take you. That was the professional evaluation given, not only announced across the room so others could not (obviously the HIPAA law do not apply here), I was not given the professional of a pharmacist to talk to me directly and privately. If it was done that way, they would hear me say as I did to the technician, I drink a protein shake every morning with milk, and I always cough. Being a woman with asthma, coughing is part of my life. That information was also on the form I filled out (as far as having asthma). I left the area very angry, and told the technician that, and announced back to the pharmacist my feelings. No screaming, but definitely shocked was being demonstrated by me. I wait almost an hour to be told, no. The unprofessionalism of this pharmacist is unbelievable!!!I spoke with the woman who I believe is the head of this store, and she told me she would talk with the pharmacist and her manager on this situation.Everywhere we are being told (especially people with chronic issues) to get the flu shot. Since many of the primary care doctors are not doing it at this time, we are using these places to get them done. If this is how a person is treated, I'll just go without it.I will not be going to Walgreens on 82 N Plank Road in Newburgh, NY again!
