Walmart has such a rude and disrespectful security guard at the door. He was a jerk that clearly doesn't know how to treat costumers. I was going in with my little puppy and he started shout at me that dogs weren't allow right away. He said that my puppy couldn't come in because it's a dog. I get that not every company is going to allow pets but I am a regular Walmart consumer and I have never had problems before. Also, it wasn't that I couldn't bring her but her attitude and rudeness on his voice. Never coming back

Of the walmarts in this area, this is one of the cleanest on the inside. When I go into the store, I don't really have any issues. It would be nice if the people pulling orders for pickup could park their carts at the end of the aisle so people could go down them but it is just an annoyance and doesn't disrupt the experience much. The grocery pickup though is a completely different experience. This is a service I didn't understand when it came out but now use it almost weekly. My problem is only with how they bag the curbside orders. They put almost every item in a bag by itself. I should be having maybe 10 bags but get about 30 that all have to be carried in and unloaded. Please start bagging your curbside orders to where the bags have at least some items. Tonight I had multiple items that we bagged by themselves but one was a package of mints, in a bag by itself. I would assume this is wasteful from a Walmart point of view and annoying for the customer point of view.

Great place to save money for friends and family merchandise. Employees in this franchise will have you leave the store with a smile.

Went to the men's clothing section where all briefs, shirt packs, socks, etc were under lock and key. The call button for an associate did not work. There were three of us standing there to get into the locked boxes. One man asked the associate a question which she ignored. He asked again, again she ignored him. I asked for help and she was so bothered by me asking. She clearly didn't speak any English which really isn't my problem. If you live in a Bilingual community then you need to be familiar with both languages. The attitude was unnecessary and uncalled for as this is her job.

Came to the sports section to get some CO2 cartridges with my son. No one was available to open the glass displays so as I walked around looking for someone to help us I ran into "Douglas" who I asked. Excuse me I'm hoping you can help me out I'm the sports section. I said as politely as I could. When this man said refused to help and when asked if he could call someone that could became irate and said ; I'm loss prevention go to customer service! Now if I had spoken and treated him like he did me I would look like an aggressor. This dude do not and should not be working anywhere customers would interact with him. He should work at a farm milking cows. And this is the nicest thing I have to say about this person.

I drove to buy items for my new house. A $100 office chair that I brought didn't have all the parts in it. So I drove 3 miles back to the store (with gas prices so high) I get to the store at 10:30 (store closes at 11) the guy in the front says customer service is close. I asked if I can speak to a manager because I just brought the item and it's incomplete. He directs me to a woman in front of customer service. I explain to her the issue. She respond "Well customer service is closed". I then said "I don't want money back I just need the misses piece or a new box with all the pieces". She says " I closed all the registers and customer service closed at 10" I then said it doesn't say that online, I just brought the item and it's missing parts. I had to go out of my way to come back here". I then asked her for a Manager. She said she was the manager and I'm acting like she's suppose to know it was missing parts and she proceed to raise her voice that she closed customer service already and i just have to come back tomorrow and i need to check online next time that customer service closed at ten. I in return said " I came and spent my money here and I didn't know either it was missing parts and I just want to swap she said she can't swap without the registers to scan. I pull out my phone to search how to complain she went to the back and came back with a male staff. He seemed like he was in a rush (now it's almost 10:50 he says rushingly " I can't give you money but you can switch for the same thing. I said that's what I was asking to do. I want the item just with all the parts". The store states close at 11pm. The attitude and demeanor of the staff is just rude and outlandish! My family spent probably $2,000 a week in Walmart. I spent $200 today $500 last week myself not counting the money my wife goes to spend just to get treated poorly!

Based on all the reviews I've read of this store, I'm very disappointed with my experience at this Walmart. First of all, we searched every aisle, and could not find any dried blood. As avid fans of crime docs, we were excited to see this in person and try to identify the injury. No such luck. Oh well, off to find fire starters. We asked an employee for help and they were helpful. We were hoping for some tea- some breakup drama to listen to or family issues, as our lives can be pretty dull. Alas, we left helped but unentertained. My boyfriend was riding around on our cart full of loose vegetables and crashed into some guy. He said it was the funniest thing that's happened to him in a while and no worries. Was kinda hoping to see them throw down (see last paragraph re: just looking to feel something) but he continued through the electronics section. We might have been overcharged but threw away the receipt before bothering to do the math. Uneventful 4/5.

Absolutely unacceptable!!!!!!! dried blood from the front of the store to the back of the store and in some aisles. There is no way blood should have been able to dry up on the floors while the store is open and people are shopping. That blood should have been cleaned up expeditiously. Shame on management, supervisors and employees who work in that area. Then on top of that got an uninterested employee in the electronics section who asked me, "what do you need?" when I asked him if he worked in electronics... Went to customer service to speak to management about the blood and uninterested employees but was told he's in the back like since he's in the back he can't he disturbed. Horrible experience today. 4/24@10:30am.

I've paid for one year grocery delivery and this must be the worst service I've ever encountered. First I thought they are overwhelmed because of the pandemic but now I'm convinced that the management of this Newburgh Walmart just sucks. 20% of the time they'll get it right and omg it's like Christmas. Most of the time though something is wrong, missing or spoiled. They grab any kind of fruits, mostly the molding ones. I can partly understand if they have to grab things fast, they don't care and Walmart is good at refunding but what I have no understanding for at all is this: When they say the delivery is delayed you can bet it will never arrive. They will still hold your money for 7 to 10 days. They deliver orders incomplete. But they will hold your money for 7 to 10 days. They say things are out of stock, but they are clearly not and then they still hold your money for 7 to 10 days. I can't even explain how frustrating it is. When you call customer service, some foreigner answers, you can hardly hear them and I personally have a hard time understanding their Indian accent since I'm a foreigner myself. When you call the store directly NOONE WILL EVER ANSWER. The chat always tells you about a refund and they apologize and the money will be back in 7 to 10 days. Even if I haven't received one single item and I have to go out and get it myself and pay again. Avoid their delivery service at all costs. I don't understand why they're offering it when they can't provide the service. The shop is ok, people working there are very friendly but I have to agree that it's rather filthy.

Called customer service about four times and still no answer. Walmart really hires garbage staff. And it's not because of the pandemic because I see reviews from over a year ago and it says the same thing.

Walmart is the definition of crap stores in the USA. That said, if you want to see the crappiest of crap stores, stop into their Newburgh NY branch, store 2104, at 1201 NY-300, Newburgh, NY 12550. They are, by far- the king of crap. The merchandise appears to be the stuff they could not sell at any other walmart in the country. The staff is beyond poor- none of them know what they are doing, and it appears as though they've been trained to never make eye contact with customers. They are rude, obnoxious, and uncaring. I bought a set of tires online at walmart.com, and was told to call the store to schedule an appointment to have them installed. Here's the kicker... ...they never, EVER answer their phone. I called the auto center directly; it rang for a good half-hour before I gave up. Called the main desk- same story. I tried that several times in one day, and then again on a few more days, and they literally NEVER answer their phone... Don't shop there. Their prices aren't all that great, their merchandise is sub-par chinese crap, and their customer service is absolutely non-existant. Worst store on the planet, bar none.

Hate this place! It has gotten worse over the years. First the type of people there and now the lack of cashiers. Its always crowded with long lines. If you want people to come back cut the lines down with more people and better service! I only shop online now thanks walmart.

I know that it is Wal-Mart so I shouldn't have high expectations. That said, when I had recently moved to the area I thought to myself, "it's just a store. How bad can it be?" Oh, honey. I also want to say I'm from Cleveland, home of one of the worst Wal-Mart stores in America (Steelyard Commons). Now, I'm not a connoisseur of Wal-Marts, nor is it a store I go out of my way to frequent. Okay so let's start with pulling into the parking lot. This is where the nightmare will begin. The parking lot is designed horribly. Also, many cars just don't care and drive through the spots so you might get hit. Such is the price you pay to shop here. It will only get worse. You've mad it through the door! Congratulations! Now what's this is the entrance? Looks like someone threw up, good thing I can walk over it. No baskets to be had, but that's fine - I have two hands and don't need a cart . In the grocery area, I spot moldy bread, which would be handy if I needed penicillin. In front of a bored looking employee not paid enough to care, a kid opens a container of cookies and has a sample. The cookies must not be that good because the kid puts one back, half eaten. At least this kiddo is polite and shuts the container. I decide I should stick to the grocery store for food. I head to get paper towels. One good thing I can say is that the store is easy to navigate with big signs all over. Another nice thing is that the store is large and many areas are well stocked. I find paper towels and several packages are open. Some open packages are missing items, and the kind shoppers have disposed of their used paper products on the shelves (how very thoughtful of them for not just tossing them on the floor!) I find a package that appears to be in one piece and grab it. I see two employees chatting and decide to ask if they carry a particular product. Unfortunately I must have bothered them during a very important talk about someone's ex girlfriend who is not kind. It's some interesting tea, but not for me. So I wait as they do not care for my question. After a bit of uh, interesting chatter they have time for me! Hooray! Sadly, my joy is so short lived. They don't know how to help and quite frankly don't care. They tell me it isn't their job. I ask how I can find out and get a half hearted shrug. No worries, I can find out later. On my way to pick up toothpaste I am distracted my nail polish (I am part magpie and shiny things fascinate me). I have apparently walked into a makeover clinic happening between two fellow shoppers. These shoppers crack the seal on products, and try them on their skin. An employee stocks the aisle next to them and periodically checks her phone. Perhaps I don't need pre-tested makeup today. I decide that I can get my toothpaste elsewhere. As I go to pay for my purchases, the employee seems miserable. I don't blame them, I would be too. I want to ask them to blink twice if they are a hostage. Instead we engage in small talk while I pay. I leave alive and in one piece, afraid to venture here again.

I've placed the same grocery order for delivery in the past 48 hours and have yet to receive it. No one is answering the phone, customer service which isn't in the store has even tried to call. You're a business someone should be able to pick up the phone. Apparently they cancel your order if the driver is t on time but you receive no notification that your order has been cancelled interesting. Whoever is managing this store needs to be fired immediately!!! Do better!!!!

This Walmart is actually one of THE worst Walmarts I've had to experience. My brother and I came to get a kayak but there was absolutely no one to help us get it. The kayak was locked and tied down outside and we asked at least 7 times for assistance and no one came out. We waited outside for assistance for around 45 minutes until ultimately we decided to leave. Also the kayak has scratches on one side which was caused by it being dragged so we asked for a discount but they said they can't because they don't have the luxury of holding the kayak inside the building which is not true since other Walmart have kayaks in the building along with it being wrapped in plastic. You're not going to buy a brand new car scratched up and dealerships don't have the luxury of having all their vehicles inside the building. This Walmart absolutely sucks with the rude and unhelpful employees and management. And they think they deserve a pay raise.
