I bought a new phone yesterday at the Newburgh Verizon store on rt 300. The sales rep/tech who assisted me, Greg, was unfriendly, uncommunicative/spoke in monosyllables, and not considerate of my comfort. In fact he made me feel quite uncomfortable. He sent me home without my new phone activated. I had to return to the store, which was quite inconvenient, and was helped by Laura. Laura was extremely helpful and completed the work that should have been completed by Greg. Laura was a 5-star employee and the only reason I didn't give one star. N from Newburgh

This Verizon store needs to work on its customer service skills, which is much more than selling new phones and plans. It took two trips, texts messages and a couple of hours to fix the issues that never should have occurred to begin with. Verizon associates act as if they’re doing you a favor. Well thanks Verizon !!

Went into verizon this morning for help with an order I had originally placed on september 15th which then had to be reprocessed online this month. Customer service over the phone has been no help to me and I went into the store looking for assistance. Fran and Matt were such a pleasure to work with and helped me figure out the mess with my order on Verizon’s end. Cannot thank them enough they were both so attentive and friendly and resolved the issue!!

The customer service at this store is absolutely terrible. I went to pick up an order as I have done before at this location with no issues. However, this time the manager refused to give me my order because my name was “not listed”. She then proceeded to walk around the store helping to others with my order in hand. When I finally figured out the issue (with no help from her) she just handed me my order and didn’t even check my ID (another step she claimed was apart of the pickup process). She decided to just pick and choose which steps of the process she wanted to follow. I will NEVER use this Verizon store again.

I visited this location and an store associate insured me that they were ordering a warranty replacement phone to be mailed to my residence. 5 days past and I did not receive the order. I returned to the store and spoke to a manager and they said that there must have been an error and there was no order in the system. They then inspected my phone again as they did five days earlier and said it now did not qualify for a free warranty replacement. I wasted 3+ hours on what was terrible customer service in store as well as on the phone. In store Management had a lack of consideration on what they called “An accident or Mistake” and for what it is like to have poor service take 3+ hours away from someone’s personal & business time. I wish I was told from the beginning if I did not qualify for a warranty replacement. T-Mobile here I come with 4 lines and 25 years of Verizon loyalty lost in three poor efforts at good service.

I went into the store to inquire about the iPhone 15 and explain some issues I’m having with my current phone. The staff at this location was as extremely unwelcoming.I have been told that they were rude at this store, but I didn’t believe it until I experienced myself. I will continue to go to the New Windsor location because the customer service is much better.

A lot of other reviews are on point, rude and unprofessional associates at this store. Very condescending and unhelpful. Been with verizon a decade and never had such an issue with customer service in the past. Time to change it up I guess, plenty of other companies available to choose from.

I wish I didn't even have to leave one star. First, I called the number provided on Yelp. It took me 6 minutes, a robot, and a conversation with someone in India to actually talk to a person in the store itself. Here's the last 30 days: I was contacted by a representative of Verizon (Greg) to try their 5G Wifi service for $25 per month. They told me that I was pre approved based on my years with Verizon and my address. It would be $25/mo but the first 30 days would be free. I called a day later to confirm with Greg, and that's when he told me I actually don't qualify based on my address, even though my address is what qualified me to receive a call from him to begin with. Five days later, I get another call from Greg that the system refreshed and I now qualify again, so we go ahead with the deal. I retained my previous Wifi just in case, because I was trying the 30 day free trial. Within three weeks, the service was spotty and I saw it would not work for me. I have an entire week left of my 30 day trial, and I try to text Greg from the number he provided and he never returned my text. I went in store to return the internet set. It was cancelled, and that's when I saw I was charged $50 extra in my monthly bill. I asked AJ, the manager, what that was about, and he said he was unable to help with any kind of billing issue. You're a manager...what? So now I'm currently in the store on a long hold with the billing Dept waiting for a resolution. They're trying to make this charge and surcharge make sense as they cancel, but it's a stretch. IN STORE calling to resolve this, where on the phone they tell me that they don't have confirmation in their system that they have the internet set. IM IN THE STORE WITH THE BOX. AJ confirms that they have the box and gives the confirmation number, but they said it still doesn't show in their system so I will have to wait to see it show, and I will not be refunded but I will be CREDITED to my account. I did not ask for a credit, I want it refunded to my original method of payment. I have to wait for the WAREHOUSE to receive the internet set, then after 24 hours I should receive my refund. Then AJ says we should call billing Dept....that's who we were just on the phone with. He has also had one headphone in this entire time. Management not being aware make this even more frustrating. Verizon does not treat its customers well, overcharges, double charges, and adds surcharges. They make it impossible to get in contact with a customer service representative on the phone, and they know since they have the best coverage, you won't leave. Really bad customer care. If you need to have the cell coverage, sure go with them, but absolutely do not get any other service.

I had a horrible app on my phone that disabled it. Totally!!They have utmost patience and removed the shortcut that I had accidentally pressed.I'm 20 hours from home, and now can use my phone for calls.THANK YOU for your patience and professional help today.Verizon continues to be my ISP for our 3 devices.Highly recommended.

If I could give a negative review I would. We went in today to combine my phone line with my fiances. We both were still on our families plans and it was time to bring the two together. When we walked into the store and told the representative what we were there for he then sighed and walked us over to a table. Which he then proceeded to tell us that moving our number would be a liability and that we'd need new numbers. Not sure how thats a liability, but yeah he used the world liability. He then dropped a phone in front of us told us to take a picture and call the number to contact customer care. He said there was no way we could keep our phone numbers and that our "parents" need to release our numbers. Mind you I was the main account holder on my verizon plan.Nope, I'm sorry that is not okay. I was talked to like a child and it did not leave a good taste in my mouth.So AT&T gained some new customers today. I'm sorry but verizon has gone completely downhill so sad.

Went in with my fiance, we've been neglecting to get on a plan together but we hit our 30s and were both still on our own families plans, and we decided today was the day. We have a simple task, take my phone off of my parents plan, take her phone off her parents plan, and start our new plan together with our same phones and same numbers. When setting it up, the gentlemen, can't remember his name, said that he couldn't do it. What do you mean, can't do it? He said the only way to do what we're asking for was to start a new plan and get new numbers. What do you mean, it's like literally the simplest thing, and he told us we had to call a 'liability' number and that transferring wasn't possible in verizon stores. I challenged him, said just start something new and transfer, he said 'thats just how it is'. First off I know you get commission off of new numbers, and not only did they not help us, but blatantly lied to us. Can't transfer the numbers to a new account? I can go down the street to Att and get it done, and that's exactly what we did. AND the plans were waaay cheaper there. Sorry Verizon, you lost 3 customers. Me, my fiance, and a nice firefighter gentlemen that we ran into at Att who decided to do the same thing.Do yourself a favor, cut the Verizon umbilical cord, look for something else

Employees in this store are useless. I traded in and upgraded to a new phone with a promotion they were offering. The new phone (Google Pixel 7) worked out to be no cost to me. WELL....the new phone had serious connectivity issues with the Verizon network. Tried handling my issue on the phone and the rep sent me a new SIM card. I brought the phone and the SIM card to the store because it wasn't activated. Guess what? The new SIM card didn't solve the problem. I returned to the store today and asked for a replacement phone. I got the replacement phone and the issues are the same on this phone as well. I would have NEVER traded in my old phone( Google Pixel 5) for a phone the doesn't work on Verizon's network. One of the employees told me that we don't have 5G in this area ( My Google Pixel 5 had 5G sevice) so I should change the settings on the phone to LTE. I did exactly that and then I couldn't make any calls without rebooting the phone. At this point I just want a different brand of phone. I was told that I could not use the promotion that I was given and wouldn't be able to get another phone with out have to pay for it! Meanwhile my perfectly good Google Pixel 5 has been traded in and I have no other phone to use. Don't waste your time going to this location. They are not helpful and completely useless.
