“Witch Hazel is my ultimate favorite place in Beacon. I remember the first time I stepped in the shop and how nice Jill was. I bought deodorant, Taos which became one of my favorite products. In fact most of my favorite products for skincare are because of Witch Hazel. They have amazing products from lip sticks to eczema cream. My morning and night routine wouldn’t be the same without this magical shop. I highly recommend it to locals and anyone who is visiting Beacon.”

“Stopped in Poor George for the first time today while exploring Cold Spring with my mom. The owner was most welcoming and helpful. It is clear she takes pride in her shop, which she most definitely should! It's a bright and cheery store with awesome finds. I got a jumpsuit and a dress that I absolutely love. “I have never considered myself "crafty" but picked up a pair of free dressers that I wanted to refinish. After doing some research online, I decided to give chalk paint a try and settled on Annie Sloan brand chalk paint due to the amazing reviews. Caryn at Knot Too Shabby was listed as my closest retailer so I reached out. From our first email exchange Caryn was helpful, prompt and supportive. When I visited her store she spent a ton of time helping me pick the right color and brushes and giving me tutorials on how to apply the paint and wax. Talking to her gave me the confidence to tackle this project and it turned out amazing!”

“This is one of my favorite stores on Main Street. This place has tons of cool, beautiful and interesting antique and retro items. Lots of stuff related to art and culture. He has some great stuff related to music and music fandom. Some cool KISS items too. He has lots of interesting vintage camera stuff. It’s like a museum in here. Utterly unique things you will not find anywhere else. Classic books, records, comics and toys too. This place is full of treasures. The owner and the employee there I have spoken with are so nice. I have bought several gifts here too that are highly beloved. This is a place not to be missed! Thank you!”

“this place is one of my go-to antique shops. i usually come once a month, depending on what they have. they have great items at great prices, and almost every time i come i walk out with something. the owners are VERY NICE!! they usually mark items down for me if i notice any flaw/defect. they're very talkative and are easy to get along with. i guarantee you will have a great experience here, no matter if you're a first timer or a frequent visitor. for first timers, i highly recommend visiting between July-December, since they have one huge room solely dedicated to Christmas decor. its filled to the brim with stuff that could make your home more merrier.”
